Job Role
Changing Lives has significantly expanded over the past few years and now works nationally with people experiencing homelessness, addiction and a range of other problems by reaching out into communities. We also offer specialist support services for women and families, provide employment opportunities for our clients, and run several successful social enterprises.
The role is to deliver frontline services working directly with clients and to explore opportunities for professional development. Ensuring that there are appropriate pathways for clients to live safe, stable and fulfilling lives.
This role is funded until 30 November 2019 through the Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities programme which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Big Lottery Fund.
Over the 3 years our project will focus on women and their families with mulitple complex needs across Wolves and Walsall, and support them into gaining education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities, encouraging health economic outcomes.
We require an Administrative Support Worker to support the effective running of the project.
Job Responsibilities
To provide a full administrative, clerical, financial and secretarial service to the Family Matters project – to include managing appointments, data entry, typing, filing scanning, photocopying and shredding.
Provide administrative support for meetings, taking and typing up minutes.
Process administrative requirements relative to clients in order to support the Family Matters project workers.
Accurately file information following administrative guidelines.
Act as the lead for data collection specifically in relation to Family Matters.
Ensure that all financial record keeping follows set procedures.
Actively supporting the collection, entry and management of any monitoring data or information.
Support the smooth running of any meetings held at the project.
Maintain relevant administrative resources, identifying improvements or potential savings, ordering stock when necessary.
Maintain all records to the required standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Use IT systems effectively to improve efficiency, communication and use of information.
Ensure that all communal and staff areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Closely manage data systemsto support the project requirements
Attend project specific training as provided by Black Country Together
Take responsibility for your own learning and performance, and supporting, training and developing others to ensure consistency of service and to improve their performance
Comply with all legal and health and safety requirements
Present a professional image of Changing Lives at all times
