  1. DOG BIN

The Town Council has received a request from the Honorary Secretary of the Birch Wood Association requesting that the Council install an additional dog bin on land at the entrance to the public right of way to Birch Wood. There is currently a bin at the entrance to the Common, see the attached map. We have permission from Kent County Council to install a further bin on their land at a cost to us of £206.00 plus the cost of emptying at £5.00 per week. Members to discuss and advise the Clerk of their decision.

9.CONFIDENTIAL

It is proposedthat during consideration of the following items of business the public and press would be temporarily excluded (Standing Order 76).

These items are considered confidential for the following reason(s)

Information relating to the financial affairs of the Council.

a)Sale of Town Council land - I have received two requests from interested parties for the purchase of two different small areas of land from the Town Council. Neither of these proposals are for Common land. The first is in Holden Road (see attached letter) and the second is in Bounds Oak Way (see the attached email). The Clerk will give further information at the meeting. Members need to discuss these interests, and firstly decide whether they wish to consider these selling the land in question. If so, then the Clerk can progress the matter and bring detailed reports to a future committee.

These items are considered confidential for the following reason(s)

Information relating to individuals.

b)Parking at Pennington Grounds - Members to discuss parking of cars at the grounds.
