Informational Parent Letter:

Our class is going to use technology and other resources to take a virtual field trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania. The students are extremely excited about it and are ready to take on the challenges of planning and experiencing a virtual field trip. The students are going to synergize with each other to help plan the trip. The students are going to be responsible for planning the entire trip including transportation, lodging, and activities to do while we are there. This project is going to require the students to solve many different real life math problems, write journal entries, read multiple types of information, and research information about Hershey, PA. In order to make this project even more memorable and exciting, we are going to need some supplies. Here is a list of supplies that we will need over the next couple of weeks:

The Hershey products will mainly be used in math problems.

*Hershey Kisses

*Hershey Candy Bars (the larger ones that you can break into equal pieces)

*Twizzlers

*Pull-N-Peel Twizzlers

*A few boxes of Reynolds Wrap or foil
