The following scope is applicable for the supply, implementation, maintenance and support of the PAM solution:-

SERVICES / DESCRIPTION
Software Licensing /
  • Provision of software licenses for all the proposed solution Flexible licencing and procurement models;

Solution Design /
  • Prepare the physical design in consultation with Eskom resources;
  • Prepare and provide all documentation that defines/documents system configuration and deployment;
  • Document architecture designs, processes, procedures and work instructions that are aligned with Eskom governance;
  • Ramped-up/Agile deployment model over 3-6 months period;
  • Provide documented user enrolment and registration processes;
  • Provide assurance that the solution implementedis certified and compliant with the relevant legislation

Hardware /
  • Provide the necessary hardware appliance for the solution.

Development, testing, implementation, configuration. /
  • Develop custom components to enable the solution to integrate with existing Eskom systems;
  • Develop test cases to ensure that the solution is comprehensively evaluated for implementation in the Eskom IT environment;
  • Implement the solution in Eskom’s QA, Pre-Production and Production environments;
  • Configure all required functional and non-functional settings in the solution to ensure optimal and secure operation thereof;

Training /
  • Mentor Eskom resources through the installation, configuration and deployment stages using a defined skills transfer program;
  • Provide onsite, classroom-based and web-based training for end-users and system support staff on a pre-booked basis;
  • The recommended method of training delivery would be required on implementation and,as per request in future.

Support and maintenance /
  • Provide 1st and 2nd Line support and maintenance on a per request basis over the period of the contract;
  • Telephonic and on-site (when needed) on software and hardware;
  • Align advisory services with Eskom governance practices.

Change Management /
  • Develop a change management programme to prepare users and administrators to adopt the new processes introduced by the solution.

Project duration /
  • 12 months

Project Milestones
<Part payments will be processed at the end of each milestone> /
  • Solution Design – 15% of total will be paid on sign-off
  • Configuration and Testing – 35% of total will be paid on sign-off
  • Deployment and Stabilisation – 40% will be paid on sign-off
Final 10% will be paid on close of project.
