Rules and Regulations of the Centre

Check in:

  1. Campers must check in and checkout at the centre in accordance with the following time schedule::

Day Camp / 9:30am to 4:30pm
Evening Camp / 2:30pm to 9:30pm
Residential camp/
Tent Camping / Arrival Date 3:00pm
Departure Date: Dormitory and Lawn have to be returned before 12:00noon, check outbefore 1:00pm
  1. Office hour of the centre is from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
  2. The activities time of Residential camp and Tent Camping is between 8:00am to 11:00pm. In the rest hour, activities are prohibited and please remain slient.
  3. Any additional campers/visitors other than the confirmed number of campers will not be entertained or allowed to access to the centre.
  4. Campers must stay at the dormitory(ies) assigned by the Centre. No change of rooms is allowed without the Camp Staff’s approval. Male and female campers must sleep in separate rooms.

During camp period:

  1. Drinking ,eating, expectoratingand littering are prohibited in the dormitories.
  2. Campers below 6 years olds are not allowed to use the upper bunk beds.
  3. Please cherish all flowers and trees.
  4. Please turn off all electrical items and close all windows before leaving the dormitories.
  5. Audio and visual equipment could only be used where the peaceful enjoyment of other campers is not affected.
  6. Campers are responsible for their own belongings. The Centre will not be responsible for any loss or damage of personal property.
  7. Any type of illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
  8. Fire could only be lit in the Camp Fire Area and BBQ area .
  9. Wet clothes, shoes and equipment must not be hanged in the dormitories.
  10. Smoking is prohibited in the Centre.

-Air conditioning of dormitories will be provided from 10:00pm to the next day 8:30am.
-Hot water will be provided all the time in bathrooms for bathing.

Check out:

  1. Please return keys and borrowed equipment and compensate any loss or damage if necessary.
  2. Clean and tidy all the areas and equipment after used. Place all garbage in the provided bins.
  3. All campers should wait for staff inspection of used area and equipment before departure.

Others:

  1. Participants of sea activities must follow the rules of Prerequisite Qualification for Craft Userand Application Guidelines.
  2. Participants of sea activities must be capable to swim at least 50m unaided with any stroke.
  3. Appropriate clothing and shoes must be worn during sea activities.
  4. If a participant fails in the swimmingtest, he/she will not be allowed to participate any sea activity and no refund will be given.
  5. After participating sea activities, participants with wet clothes must not enter any indoors areas.
  6. For bad weather arrangement, please refer to Application Guidelines.
  7. Vehicles must not be parked in the car park without prior approval.
  8. Toavoid scout identity fraud and exploiting scout benefits, Scout Leader shouldsend the activities information (notice or schedule) to the centre office for record keeping. Scouts must show their scout identity cards or wear proper uniformswhen arrival.

*The above rules and regulations are subject to change without anynotice, campers have to follow the rules and regulations according to the changes.

*Should any person be discovered to have breached the rules and regulations, the centre staff have the right to ask him/her/unit to leave at once and no refund will be given.

*The Centre reserves the right to take legal action against any camper or organization/unit.
