HAUDE PARTY, FOOD FAVORS & GIFT POLICY
The KISD Student Handbook (page 37) states, “The principal will designate three “special event days” per year. Definite plans will be sent out by the individual principal on each campus. The school district’s food service department will provide the refreshments for the parties.” In order to streamline the process, the Haude PTO will pay for the refreshments provided through our food service department, which included favors at our Christmas party. Refreshments and a small favor for our Valentine’s Day party will be provided by the PTO. The Haude staff, PTO and administrators feel this is fair for all of our students. Please do not send any food items, favors, or gifts on the party days. The third special event is our Fifth Grade Appreciation Day in June. Special thanks to all of our moms and dads who volunteer during the parties!
PARKING
If you are coming into the building in the morning, or arriving for a parent-teacher conference at 3:30, it would be best to get in the carpool line and as you enter the area close to the parking lot, turn right and park your car there. You then can enter the cafeteria and come to the office for a v-soft badge. It would be hard to find a place to park in the front parking lot as you would be going the wrong way with school buses, day care vans, and cars!
INFORMATION RELEASE
The district is required by law to release to anyone who makes a formal request through the Public Information Office, students' names, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, dates of attendance, awards received in school, and most recent and previous school attended. The district frequently receives such requests from salespersons and others, and we must comply unless the parents have objected in writing with the release of this information.
