PA TO GROUP DIRECTOR AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Salary range:£28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Based at Coin Street neighbourhood centre, 108 Stamford Street, South Bank London SE1 9NH

We are looking for an experienced PA to support both the Group director (GD) and the chief financial officer (CFO). The role holder will need to have a robust and resilient nature, strong instincts and a passion to get things right as well as being the sort of person who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved and support the wider leadership and finance teams. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are imperative. This is a busy role, so the role holder needs to be highly organised and meticulous, able to cope with managing multiple tasks and demands at the same time.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and seamless administrative support for the GD and CFO, including effective diary management, meetings, travel organisation and filing management.
  • Play an effective and appropriate gatekeeping role as the primary point of contact, dealing with incoming calls, email and post.
  • General administration duties to support the GD and CFO such as photocopying, filing and completing expense claim forms on their behalf.
  • Develop an understanding of the GD and CFO’s working styles and priorities in order to facilitate effective administrative support and to represent them effectively.
  • To assist the GDO team in servicing board meetings.
  • Manage specific projects on behalf of the GD and CFO, often of a complex, sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Provide timely administrative support to the GD and CFO in the coordination of internal management procedures including induction & appraisal management and updating the HR system.
  • To provide cover for the executive assistant during absences and support the leadership team as required
  • Undertake such other activities as the GD and CFO may reasonably require.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience of working in a proactive PA role to a senior team and/or director
  • Excellent administration, office and IT skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Extensive experience in co-ordinating internal and external meetings, with the ability of managing last minute changes
  • A good command of the English language and a proven record of accurate minute-taking
  • Experience of working in an information sensitive environment
