1 / All the daily, arrival and departure messages which are sent to the charterers need to be copied to the owners.
2 / All communication pertaining to the movement of the ship and commercial aspects must be copied to the owners. Close and quick communication system is required to be maintained with the owners. Please ensure that the group email address is used for all routine communications with Petredec in addition to any other addresses that may be necessary to include. This ensures proper coverage for Petredec Fleet Group in both Singapore and Monaco.

3 / Please send ownersBi-weekly report (Petredec Report)in the specified format to AESM. Be reminded the Bi-weekly report to be concise and up to date. Beware for copy-paste on a regular basis as the owners are carefully reviewing those reports
4 / A voyage performance report on the specified format needs to be sent to owners’ each month end.
All the Petredec vessels are fitted with DANAOS Software on a laptop computer that requires a daily update (Like a noon report) to be send every day. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEARLY FOLLOWED AND THE TELEGRAM MESSAGE TO BE CAREFULLY REVIEWED PRIOR SENDING!
Numerous complaints have been received by Owners to the masters because instructions or not followed or repeated mistakes being made.
5 / Cargo turn-out form in the specified format to be sent to owners after each discharge completion. This consolidated form records all figures loaded and discharged each operation. Please refer owner’s standard reporting procedures.
6 / Please read the owners requirements for Oil Major Inspections and the related vetting observations.
7 / The owners generally require Master to visit their Office for pre-joining briefing.

1 / ALL PETREDEC vessels (Except KDA, KWI, NIJ, NAW, MOT, MON, MFO) are fitted with MAN B&W Electronic engines. All engineers to have done the training course for electronic engines.
ALL PETREDEC vessels (Except KDA, KWI, NIJ, NAW, MOT, MON, MFO) are fitted with Ballast water treatment systems. Please ensure that the system is Always used when ballasting.
For all the new vessels delivered in 2015: Close follow up on warranty claims is required.

  • Kindly be reminded to ensure compliance with BW exchange and BW chlorination regulations for Cholera prevention,
  • Please note that this is very high risk area for Sea Borne Drug Smuggling and be on alert accordingly.
  • Kindly beware in case of transiting River Plate that in certain sections the banks shift continually and buoys may drift out of position or the buoyage may not yet have been re-aligned to the navigable channel, for which the most up-to-date information must be obtained from the local Agent or the Pilot authority in good time before the transit and extra care is to be taken when navigating in suspect areas.
  • Kindly be warned that exorbitant fines are imposed on ships for any misdeclaration of bunkers, lubes, paints, spares, equipment stores, cargo or crew's personal effects. The Customs or other authorities will look for the slightest excuse, even minor, innocent, discrepancies or mistakes, to levy huge fines (USD20-30,000 upwards) and/or extort underhanded payments. Please, therefore, ensure that all port papers and customs declarations are prepared carefully and accurately, all items and quantities are diligently accounted for and declared according to local regulations and requirements, to be ascertained by you from port agent early to allow you sufficient time to ensure proper compliance.
