Outline of House Reward System
House Points
- Only ONE point should be awarded at each time unless in exceptional circumstances.
- Children record any house points they are given onto their house sheet. Primary 7 children will collect points on a Wednesday. Primary 7’s will take an average score for each house from each class to make scoring fairer.
- When children collect five houses they put a tally mark in the end column – this makes it easier for the Primary 7’s to record scores.
- Points can be awarded by any member of staff to children being helpful/polite, wearing house badge, and for individual effort/success.
- Totals to be announced at assemblies weekly.
Golden Table
- When collecting the house points on a Wednesday the Primary 7 children will record the name of the person in each classwith the highest number of individual points. This child will be invited to bring their lunch to the ‘Golden Table’ on theFriday lunchtime. The child will be given a golden ticket which they can take home and a laminated one which they should bring to the golden table on Friday.
- The golden table will be set up in the dining hall on Friday lunchtimes. Children will bring their normal lunch and come along at their usual time to the golden table – they must remember to bring their laminated golden ticket. Children should be able to identify the golden table as it will have a gold table cloth.
- Children can only attend the Golden Table if they have full golden time.
