I realize that Rotary Youth Exchange District 5390(RYE) is a year-long international cultural enrichment and exchange opportunity and not a simple tourist travel agency. I realize that RYE does not send students to some countries. I realize that RYE does not guarantee choice of a country selection. To assist RYE, please accept the following top five country selections as being agreeable for my student to be hosted by, in order of his/her interest:

1.______2.______3.______4.______5.______

I understand RYE is making a good faith effort anticipating the summer of 2018 airfares, foreign country visa fees and registrations as much as a year in advance and agree to pay an additional amount should these items dramatically and unexpectedly escalate more than 10% from summer of 2017. Should this unfortunately occur, a major increase could not be covered with RYE reserve funds and I agree to pay the additional amount above and beyond a 10% increase by June 1, 2018.

If my student withdraws from the RYE program before January 31, 2018, I understand all application fee monies will be returned less $200 administration fee. After that date any other expenses incurred by the District on the student’s behalf will be deducted from the amount paid, in addition to the administration fee.

I understand I will be responsible for any costs related to an early termination of the exchange and return home, or any other unusual costs of my student.

I agree to fully support RYE and my student son/daughter by attending the outbound orientations and havnig him/her at the District Conference in April 2018

We, the undersigned parents or guardians of the above prospective Outbound Rotary Youth Exchange Student, have read and understand the Rotary District 5390 Youth Exchange Financial agreement and hereby agree to abide by the terms of this agreement.
