OUR RESPONSE
Girls Incorporated uses RESEARCH-BASED PROGRAMS to invite girls to join an environment that is nurturing, positive and forward-looking. The programs we include:
- Girls Inc. Operation SMART – Science, Math and Relevant Technology

- Girls Inc. Friendly PEERsuasion – Resisting substance abuse

How we can grow
Building partnerships with Guilford County Public and Public Charter Schools and key community groups.
Delivering the Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy programming to Guilford County middle school girls in our teen workshops.
Focusing on Leadership and Economic Literacy in our Saturday workshops. When girls are engaged early on in learning about money -- through coordinated discussions about earning, managing, investing and giving -- they gain powerful tools to shape their own lives as well as the world at large.
Delivering Economic Literacy; Science, Math, Technology; Violence Prevention in our summerprogramming.
In order to make this happen volunteers play an important role in our organization. Please see our Volunteer Opportunities document.
