Hi everyone,
So many things to be THANKFUL for:
- Our award-winning Marching band for winning 3rd Place in Cavalcade Championships AND the award forMost Improved.
- Our Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Band for completion of auditions and kicking off a wonderful season of Jazz!
- Our Orchestra students as they lead up to our first winterinstrumental concert on November 30th. We hope to see you all there.
- Our fantastic music staff. Your dedication to our students never ceases to amaze.
- You ... the fabulous families who support our program!!
In particular, please note the following additions:
- On December 5th, there is a Wind Ensemble Clinic from2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
- On February 21st, there is aWind Ensemble Dress Rehearsal from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

FUNDRAISERS
- PIES, PIES and more ... CHEESECAKES! Thank you all for making our holiday pie sale a success. We sold over 300 pies and cheesecakes for $900+student credit. Pick-up is Tuesday November 21stfrom 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Styer's Market. Please arrive promptly and go around the back to the warehouse where our merry crew of helpers will have the pies ready for pick-up. To help make transporting your goodies more easily, please bring boxes. (Note: Styer's may have pie carriers available for purchase at $2 each, but in years past, carriers were sold out prior to Tuesday night pick-ups.) - SNAP - this is deemed a successful first-time fundraiser!! We received $13,765 in donations. WOW!!
- Thank-Scrip-ing Day Comes Back on November 21! This is one of THEE best days to take advantage of additional student rebates through our Scrip program. - Patron Ads - the last cutoff for submission of patron ads for the yearis December 13th. Here is a link to the form: Patron Ads
- Upcoming fundraisers: Winter Concert Raffle (Beats Pill and Headphones!!) and Designer Handbag Bingo (February 23rd with snow date March 9th). Information will be sent home following the holiday.
- Gertrude Hawk Holiday candy will be distributed roundabout the 2nd week in December.Holiday Flowers will be distributed Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am.
- TWISTED buttons are available for purchase at $2 each. If you are interested, please let me know.

Student's commitment account statements were delivered via email fromour financial secretary, Kim Dixon on November 5th.
