Orange Business Services reduces the cost of communications by five times for "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company" employees
JSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft”, one of the leaders of the Russian aviation industry, has reduced the cost of international communications by five times due to the introduction of the Orange Audio & Web Conferencing service.
The international service provider Orange Business Services announces the introduction of the cloud service Audio & Web Conferencing to JSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" (SCAC), intended for audio and web conferences with connection cabilities for users around the world.
Possibilities provided by the service allow to conduct a conference with participation of up to 4 thousand users. Audio & Web Conferencing supports both conference calls on a schedule with advance reservation of time and date, and connection for the Customer with colleagues at any convenient time without prior booking. Besides that among other features of the service there is a joint editing and coordinated approval of documents in online mode. Data in Audio & Web Conferencing is transmitted over Orange secure network.
"Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" is the largest Russian manufacturer of new models of civil aviation equipment with geographically-distributed structure. In addition to the headquarters in Moscow the Customer divisions are located in the city of Zhukovsky (Moscow region), Komsomolsk-on-Amur and other regions. The management of SСАC had to reduce the cost of employees business trips. Due to the capabilities of the Audio & Web Conferencing service the Customer managed not only to significantly reduce transportation costs, but also to reduce the time necessary for the coordinated approvals of technical documentation and other issues within the company.
In addition to the divisions located on the territory of Russia "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" cooperates together with foreign manufacturing partners located in Italy, Ireland, Mexico and other countries. This being said it is necessary to administrate all stages of production and assemblage of products, which also presumed the demand for regular international business trips of the Customer's employees. Thanks to Orange Audio & Web Conferencing service, Sukhoi and their foreign partners have the opportunity to arrange audio and video calls as well as to organize multi-user conferences, to which it is possible to connect employees located anywhere in the world and using any communication device, including analog phone. The transition to Orange Audio & Web Conferencing allowed SСАC to back down on calls by phones using international roaming. Prior to this, employees on international business trips had to spend considerable amount of money on the phone calls to the head office in order to solve work tasks. With the use of Orange Audio & Web Conferencing thr Customer's expenses on international calls were reduced by five times on average.
Preliminary preparation for the introduction of the Orange Audio & Web Conferencing service in the SСАC began in December 2016, and from January 1, 2017, the service has run a test mode. In late February the Customer and Orange Business Services signed an agreement and launched Audio & Web Conferencing into commercial production. From now on the Customer plans to utilise the service for a wide range of intracorporate tasks, in particular, for employees remote training.
