Ogden Clinic Expands Ear, Nose and Throat Specialty Service

New Practitioners to Join Growing Clinic

Ogden, Utah (May 16, 2012) – Ogden Clinic is growing with the addition of Dr. Douglas Anderson and Physician’s Assistant (PA) Colby Mitchell, effective June 1, 2012. They bring robust otolaryngology and Ear, Nose Throat (ENT) practices to the Ogden Clinic, as well as comprehensive allergy testing capabilities.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Dr. Anderson has practiced otolaryngology in Ogden as an independent physician since August 1995. After pursuing an undergraduate degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University, Dr. Anderson attended medical school at the University of Utah.He completed his internship in general surgery, as well as a residency in otolaryngology at Indiana University School of Medicine.Dr. Anderson is a Board Certified Fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.Throughout his career Dr. Anderson has been active in the Ogden medical community serving as Chief of Surgery and Chief of the Medical Staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center, President of the Weber County Medical Society, President of the Ogden Surgical Medical Society and President of the Utah Otolaryngology Association.

PA Colby Mitchell joined Dr. Anderson’s practice in 2003. He received a degree in Advanced Respiratory Therapy from Weber State in 1999 and received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2003.Prior to that, he worked as a respiratory therapist at Ogden Regional Medical Center, Ascentra Home Medical and Washington Terrace Health Services.

Dr. Anderson and PA Colby Mitchell plan to continue to practice at 425 E. 5350 S., Suite 130, Ogden, UT.
