President van der Vooren called the Executive Committee meeting to order with the following participants:

van der Vooren congratulated Hess on his success in obtaining Toyota as the 2008 Annual Conference & Exhibition Conference sponsor.
van der Vooren noted that the purpose of this call is purely informational/status updates.
Item #2: Executive Director Report (Carolla)
2006 Year-end Financial Results (as detailed in the March 8, 2007 Executive Director’s Year-End Report)
A&WMA marketing presentation (A Partner in Your Success) – completed. Will be mailed to all Board members and Section & Chapter chairs
ACE07 Update (exhibit/sponsorship)
Other conference registration information (Canadian Municipal Waste Management meeting and Hazardous Waste Combustors conference)
Phone system conversion – new system installed February 16
Office space search – reviewed process and results to date; intent to pursue counterproposal with current landlords. Will prepare summary report and recommendation for review by Finance Committee, then Board. Goal is to complete prior to June Board meeting.
Centennial Publication – in progress and on track
Item #3: Membership Committee/Survey (Mathai/Carolla)
First committee conference call held Feb 28 – discussed survey
Survey questions being finalized
Next call scheduled for March 20
Anticipate reviewing 2003 Membership Task Force report
Financial analysis of Organizational membership to be done
Item #4: Exhibit Task Group (Palermo)

Conference call planned for April 15 instead of in person meeting. Some will be in Pittsburgh for Leadership Training.
