Fall Term GPA, Spring and Fall terms retention

For most transfer students their first term and sometimes first year are the most difficult. These students go through many types of transitions and are still making an adjustment to the university environment. Many students see a decline in their first term GPA from previous terms at other institutions. However, most quickly make it up the next term.

Two Year and Four Year Graduation Rates

Most students graduate at higher rates after six years at a university and that is no different for the many transfer students at UCF. Many of our students work and go part-time, thus increasing their time at UCF. A six year graduation rate for transfer students is comparable to six year rate for FTICs except that the four year graduation rate for transfer students is higher.
