Business-Free Zone

As we come before God in worship we give God our undivided attention. In February our worship time is designated as “Business-Free.” During the worship hour and the fifteen minutes before and after worship we refrain from doing business (church business or otherwise). We limit our spoken announcements, turn off cell phones, and make every effort to maintain a God-focused oasis of time.

The final session of our Special Response Studies will be February 27 (conference papers: “A Statement of Confession and Commitment” and “Query: Language on Same Sex Covenantal Relationships”). Bring a sack lunch and join us. For more information see (click special response).

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is back!

Taking place on the evening of Saturday, February 26, this event allows you to open your home or travel to someone else's for a night of food, fellowship, and fun. The thing is...you don't know who else will be there until you show up! Sign up on the board in the narthex or by emailing by TODAY. Please indicate whether you'll be willing to serve as a host, how many people from your family will attend, and whether you have any special requests or needs. If you have additional questions, please contact Alissa Zience or Kim Ferrari.

Upcoming Brethren Disaster Ministries (BDM) Trips

BDM has coordinated a number of opportunities to provide disaster relief for flood, hurricane, and earthquake victims. Week long trips will have openings throughout the year which we can fill. Upcoming possibilities are 20-26 February in Nashville, Tennessee (four slots open) and 14-20 March in Port-au-Prince, Haiti (ten slots open). A future possibility exists 27 Nov – 3 Dec in Nashville. If you have interest in any of these trips, please contact Karl Wilkerson at or (703) 300–4415.

The Chancel Choir will begin rehearsing THIS TUESDAY, February 15. Please mark your calendar and prepare for the new season!Additional singers are needed; please prayerfully consider singing with the choir. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m.If you have questions please contact John Shafer at .
