• Bob and Mary Eisma: Bob returned home from St. Lukes last week. His speech is slowly improving. He will be going to the Hawarden Hospital for more speech therapy. Mary is continuing to recover from hip surgery and is going for therapy as well.

--PIE AT THE PARSONAGE: On Sunday, September 11 after the evening service, we are inviting the congregation to pop over to the parsonage to have a dessert and visit for a while. Everyone is welcome. --THE NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) SUPPORT GROUP will meet in the Fireside Room of Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6. Cheryl Buntsma, a Certified Prevention Consultant, will tell about the services available through Compass Pointe Behavioral Health. --2016 MINN-IA-KOTA RETREAT You won’t want to miss an amazing concert by Captivating Keyboards at the Carmel Reformed Church on Tuesday,September 13. Both musicians have studied piano performance through the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and are exceptional together. At the concert, hosted by Bible League International Volunteers, there will be a unique opportunity to give an offering to provide Bibles to Africa. Concert tickets can be purchased at the door for just $10 and doors open at 6:30 pm. You won’t want to miss this great evening of music!
--RAISING MONEY FOR HOPE HAVEN - Talsma’s Trail Park is hosting an ATV and Horse Ride Benefit on Saturday, September 17 to raise money for Hope Haven in Rock Valley. The park is near Avon, SD and has 75 miles of primitive trails by the MO River. The event begins at 9AM and costs $35 to participate. Contact Tina at the Trail Park to register and to learn more.
