TrailerConnect telematics from Schmitz Cargobull Telematics delivers results which reduce the total cost of ownership

Now available with the new TrailerConnect Internet portal

Horstmar/Munich, May 2015 - Many distributors now demand telematics. Constant transparency regarding the location and status of the load is becoming increasingly important for optimised logistics chains. At the same time, clients are less willing to pay carriers more for this service. As a result, carriers have been forced to find options for reducing costs with the help of trailer telematics in order to finance the necessary investment.

The process-orientated usage of telematics now consists of a permanently available system. The reason: Data gaps lead to process gaps. "Because of our experience with developing the hardware and operating telematics, our systems are distinguished by their excellent 99% availability," says Karl-Heinz Neu, the Managing Director of Cargobull Telematics GmbH.

New TrailerConnect portal

Schmitz Cargobull Telematics presents the first developments of the new TrailerConnect Portal. The complete portal will be available by the end of 2015. Customers and other interested parties can take an initial look in Munich. Two key features are the highly user-friendly interface and a responsive design specifically for tablet usage. Only a few clicks are needed to achieve the desired result. The use of state-of-the-art Internet technologies is almost a matter of course. The content is displayed rapidly and in high quality. The new design also offers an extensive range of sorting and filtering options, enabling rapid and effective work. As such, Cargobull Telematics sets a new standard for trailer telematics applications.
