Scoring
1st place =7pts, 2nd place = 6pts, 3rd place = 5pts, 4th place = 4pts,
5th place = 3pts,6th place = 2 pts, 7th place =1pt, no points for later positions.
Additional points will be awarded to competitors on the following basis:
CountyStandard 1pt. ESAA entry standard 2pts. ESAA national standard 3pts.
In races in which heats are held.it will be the first one in each heat and
an appropriate number of fastest losers to make an8 athlete final.
In timed races the medals and points will be awarded on the basis of
the fastest times.
Standards are set by the ESAA and published annually in their handbook,
ESSA entry and national standards are shown in the programme.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR DISTRICT HAS AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE TO ASSIST WITH OFFICIATING (STAFF or LEADERS)

2013 Rule book)
Numbers
Competitors may be disqualified if they do not wear the correct numbers back and front for TRACK and FIELD events except High Jump and Pole Vault when they can wear their
Number on the back.NUMBERS MUST BE FASTENED TO YOUR VEST BY SAFETY
PINS, ONE IN EACH CORNER TO PREVENT ANY FOLDING OF THE NUMBER
Eligibility
All competitors must be bona fide scholars in full time education at affiliated schools or colleges in Nottinghamshire.
Junior over 12 and under 15years of age (years 8 and 9 only) NO YEAR 7 PUPILS
Intermediate 15 and under 17 (years 10 and 11 only)
All ages are reckoned at 31st August / 1st Septemberat the end of the current school year.
No guests will be allowed in any events without prior permission.
Numbers of events per competitor
Juniors and Intermediates are restricted to any two events (when UK rules permit) plus a relay.
All competitors if at all possible must wear the correct area kit otherwise they may risk disqualification.

Number of trials
With the exception of the Pole Vault and High Jump, all competitors
will have 3 trialsand the top 8 in the relevant competition have one
further trial.
