Notice of Bank Account Registration to Facilitate MCU Payments to Students

To upgrade processing efficiency and simplify the procedure of payments and reimbursements, the university will begin remitting payments (reimbursements) directly to individual bank accounts. Students are required to key in individual bank account information online to make payment functions possible.

1.Payments (Reimbursements):

(1)Various scholarships from the university

(2)Scholarships and assistantships for graduate students

(3)Reimbursements of Computer Lab Fee and/or Language Lab Fee

(4)Reimbursement of credit fees for 3-year Work Experience Degree Completion Program and Work-experience Master’s Program

(5)Reimbursement for additional student loan amounts

(6)Reimbursement for Tuition Waiver

(7)Work-study payments

(8)Others

2.Procedures for keying in student bank account information on-line:

(1)Enter the university homepage

(2)Log in to Student Information System

(3)Click on “Student Payment Bank Account”

(4)Locate and click on the name of your “Financial Institution”

(5)Key in your account number

3.Notes:

(1)The data must be for the student’s own personal bank account (at any bank or at the post office) in Taiwan. Please proceed with online account key-in as soon as possible.

(2)Students should proceed with caution as the information can only be keyed in once during the duration of study at MCU. If any mistakes occur with inputting data, students must bring student ID card and copy of the deposit book cover to the Bursar’s Office on Taipei campus (or the General Affairs Section on Taoyuan campus) for correction of information.

(3)An account must be opened at the Taipei Fubon Bank for payment of scholarships and work-study payment (labor program work-study) for international students and for personnel subsidies for Ministry of Science and Technology.

(4)At present, this institution cooperates with the Taipei Fubon Bank. Students are encouraged to open an account with the Taipei Fubon Bank, and make use of the Taipei Fubon ATMs which have been installed on our campuses.

【Announcement of Personal Information Collection and Usage Agreement】The information collected is only for the purposes of cashier affairs, accounting voucher management affairs, assisting public sector entities with investigation, operations, and legal obligations set in accordance with relevant regulations. The Bursar’s Section of General Affairs Division processes information according to Ming Chuan University (MCU) information maintenance and security management regulations. The Bursar’s Section of General Affairs Division shall not disclose or provide any information to any third party without prior consent, nor transfer information for any other uses.
