Sunday Racing Jays

This year, with the exception of the first two sessions, training for Sunday Racing Jays will run every other week starting at 10am on the water. On the Sundays where there is no training taking place, the sailors will race as part of the Club’s junior race series.

A new Junior Sailing Club committee has been formed to plan the training sessions and also social events such as Bar-b-ques.

This year our ultimate goal is to enter a team for the Anglian Water Series and the other inter club completion in September – The Warwick Trophy.

The datesfor this season are attached and included the dates for the Anglian Water Series.

The cost

NSC Members with your own boat / £70
NSC Members without a boat / £130

Next steps

If you want to sign up, please download and return the Sunday JAYS booking/consent form and payment to the office. No boat? Don’t worry the club does have some available but be quick as they are allocated on a “first come first served” basis.

Parents we need you!

We would like to emphasise that the more parents who get involved the more your children will be able to experience and achieve. If you cannot sail yourself then perhaps you could take the register or welcome new members. We would like to develop the content of JAYS sessions for,example providing progress reports to parents ,but we will only be able to do this if we have volunteers helping with the day to day tasks. This is also a great opportunity to meet other parents, get involved in a thriving club and even get on the water yourself if you wish. If you can help, even just occasionally, please let us know.

REMINDER a parent or guardian must remain on site whilst their child is attending JAYS and if someone is acting ‘in loco parentis’ then the register must be marked.
