NOMINATION FORM FOR THE NACE R. A. BRANNON AWARD

*NOTE: Before submitting a nomination, read the following information carefully and ensure the nomination contains only what is required.

This award is given for outstanding work by a current member of NACE in good standing for activity at the Association or Board committee level of the organization. To be outstanding, the work must be conspicuous, meritorious, and project excellence in promoting the objectives of NACE. Association signifies Board-level contributions as opposed to region and section activities.

The nomination must include a statement that substantiates that the contribution of the nominee to NACE was outstanding and resulted in a new development or contributed greatly to furthering the aims and objectives of NACE. Nominations without such a statement will not be considered. Outstanding contributions to NACE will be evaluated on the basis of results achieved rather than effort expended.

Membership in other organizations, election to NACE region and section offices, talks or papers presented or published, books written, patents issued, or technical performance or achievement have no bearing on the award. Such information should not be included in the nomination and could detract from the nominee's consideration.

Past presidents are eligible for this award only for accomplishments following their presidency and only after five years’ time have elapsed since their presidency. Only one (1) award will be given in any year.
