OVERALL AVERAGE LEVELLED AT 218.18p

Young Bulls - 156 averaged 206.54p

Today a vastly improved entry of young bulls forward and a very decent top end entry.

Saying that a vast percentage of black and whites and some real common sorts would distort averages.

Trade today again very fast but perhaps a couple of pence off last week’s flier!!

Top bulls today were consigned by Roger Hazard and Sons who sold Limousins to 249.5p - £1519.46 with others at 242.5p (twice) - £1457.43 and £1394.38. John Holmes sold South Devons to 244.5p - £1445, Charles Buckston, Ashbourne sold Limousins to 244.5p - £1344.75 with others at 243.5p (twice) - £1368.47 and £1363.60.

Top grossing bull today was consigned by Julie Wicks who sold Charolais to £1894.25.

Today E grades 240p plus with U+’s 232-239p and –U grades 223-231p and R grades 212-222p and O+’s 205-211p.

Best Friesians were again well sold selling from 190-198p with meated Holsteins 178-188p, plainer sorts 160-170p and very plain Holsteins 150-158p.
