EPS LAUNCHES ADVANCED OBJECT PRINTING MACHINE WITH XAAR TECHNOLOGY AT INPRINT GERMANY 2017
Xaar, the world leader in industrial inkjet technology, is pleased to announce the launch of the Roto-JET, the latest advancement in cylindrical object inkjet printing from its company in the US, Engineered Printing Solutions (EPS). The launch will take place for the first time outside of the United States at Inprint Germany 2017, in Hall A6, Stand 514 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre – November 14-16, 2017.
The Roto-Jet from EPS, a leading provider of product printing equipment, is a multi-colour, UV-LED, high-resolution printer that offers state-of-the-art digital printing technology. Print reliability in the Roto-JET is assured with its use of the Xaar 1003 printheads featuring Xaar’s unique TF Technology. Ink is recirculated within the printhead, directly past the back of the nozzle during drop ejection, at the highest flow rates in the industry. This ensures unrivalled reliability even in the harshest environments.
The Roto-JET is designed specifically for decorating cylindrical objects in vertical mode – including those that are flat walled or tapered – and is therefore the ideal printer for companies producing promotional products, craft brewers, wineries and Ad Specialty companies looking to offer their customers a short run option at high production rates. Xaar’s TF Technology is essential for printing in vertical mode - the ink is in constant motion inside the printheads so that sedimentiation and subsequent nozzle blocking when jetting is avoided.
With average speeds of 800 parts per hour (pph)*, it features a synchronised printing and curing operation which prints full CMYKWW, with optional primer and varnish printheads available. Easy to load and unload, this new system can accommodate either manual or automatic operation. In addition, the elliptical-style race track conveyance and vertical design keeps the printer within a manageable footprint.
“We are very excited about the worldwide launch of the Roto-JET at Inprint 2017, which is in response to market demand,” comments Oscar Planas, Xaar’s Director of Global Marketing. “EPS chose the Xaar 1003 for its excellent performance in general and specifically because no other technology can match Xaar’s TF Technology when printing vertically. The combination of the EPS product printing expertise and Xaar technology in one solution provides a great return on the investment of manufacturers in search of an object printing system.”
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Roto-JET during Inprint show should visit the Xaar/EPS booth in Hall A5, on stand 514 to see it in action daily at 10:30am & 2:00pm. Alternatively visit the website: https://www.epsvt.com/industrial-inkjet-printers/.
