"The Jeti Tauro was developed with the quality and productivity demandsof high-end sign and display printers in mind," said Dominiek Arnout, Vice President Inkjet, Agfa Graphics. "Users get the most from the Jeti Tauro thanks tothe tight integration with the Asanti workflow software, characterized by fast image rendering and precise and easy color management. Asantienhances and streamlines the printing process by reducing the margin for error andshortening prepress procedures. The entirebusiness process is simplified, delivering maximum productivity and extremely vivid printing."

With high-productivity and high-quality output at its core, the Jeti Tauro is designed for the higherend of the sign and display market. The hybrid Jeti Tauro system can be upgraded with a semi-automated board feeder and stacker. The Jeti Tauro prints up to 2.54 meter-wide rigidor rollmaterial.

Printing at speeds up to 275 m² per hour, the Jeti Tauro’s 32 Ricoh Gen5 heads, each with four nozzle rows for two colors per head, are divided into 24 print heads for color (CMYKlCLm) and eight heads dedicated to white and/or primer printing. This configuration guarantees superior image quality. The printer features a gloss mode for production of gamut expanded glossy prints.

The Jeti Tauro’s robust construction can handle extreme workloads and 24/7 printing schedules. When working with uneven substrates, an automated laser driven head height control system and print shuttle safety sensorsreduce potential downtime and printing errors. An antistatic device eliminates static charges, for maximum dot-positioning accuracy.
