Technology Awareness Addiction Scholarship - For current high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. How to apply:Complete the application form below including a 140-character message about technology addiction. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about technology addiction. Deadline is January 30, 2018. Apply at:
National Multiple Sclerosis Scholarship ~ 300 – 400 scholarships (various amounts) are awarded for graduating seniors who either have MS or have a parent with MS. Students must plan to enroll in an undergraduate course of study for at least 6 credit hours and intend to use the scholarship for the upcoming school year. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2018.

UNION PLUS Scholarship Program - Current and retired members of participating unions, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations). At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31, 2018.This is a competitive scholarship. Applicants are evaluated according to academic ability, social awareness, financial need and appreciation of labor. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is recommended. The required essays can account for up to half your total score.Scholarship applicants are judged by a committee of impartial post-secondary educators.Deadline is January 31, 2018. Apply at:
National Co-Op Scholarship Program ~ Students are encouraged to apply for the ninth annual National Co-op scholarship. To qualify, students must: have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or better and complete all the required admissions applications materials and be accepted for the 2012-2013 academic year at one of the WACE Partner Institutions (Drexel university, Johnson & Wales University, Kettering University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Cincinnati, University of Toledo) To apply, complete an on-line application at Deadline is February 15, 2018
UCS Superintendent’s Scholarship - UCS graduating seniors are invited to apply for the 2018 Superintendent’s Scholarship awards program. The scholarships are funded with proceeds from the Utica Community Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence’s annual Evening of Excellence and other sources.
Applications must be submitted electronically. Students are required to receive one recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, administrator or non-family member. The individual making the recommendation will need to submit an appraisal form and recommendation electronically.

-$1,500 Brett Klenow Scholarship

Shelby Lions Club Academic and Community Service Scholarships - Four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who meet the following eligibility requirements and are selected by the Shelby Township Lions Scholarship Committee. Student must be a graduating HS senior with a 2.5 GPA or higher, reside in Shelby Twp. and attend public school. Society of Women Engineers- Detroit Scholarship - Must be a female in their senior year of high school in Michigan and enrolling at a university or college for fall term 2018. Must pursue an engineering degree at a university or college with an ABET accredited engineering program. Must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0. The Gary Rojeski Scholarship Fund - is for 2018 graduating high school seniors that participated in football this past fall at Utica High School and Utica Ford High School. Award Amount: $1,000. Applicants must show good character, excel in academics, lettered in varsity football and have been involved in community service. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and plan to attend college. In addition to the application for scholarship, applicants will be required to write an approximate 300-word (no more than 400 words) essay on the following topic: As an athlete (member of the football team), what “lessons” have you learned that you will be able to apply outside of sports in your everyday life? Helen Tallman Fund Scholarship - Through her estate gift, Ms. Tallman requested that a portion of awards from the Fund support scholarships for Wayne State University students who are majoring in engineering fields or pre-medical/medical fields. Robert Holmes Scholarship- TheCommunity Scholarships for Southeastern Michigan is sponsoring up to 6 one-time awards of $1,000 for graduating seniors who are children of eligible Michigan Teamsters members.
