SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

NEOKLA/OKLAHOMA/WICHITA REGIONS SCCA SCHOOL/REGIONAL

HMRC MAY 21-22, 2005

General

1.  This event, organized by NEOKLA/WICHITA Regions, SCCA, will be held under the 2005 General Competition Rules. The Regional Race is also conducted under the Midwest Division’s Mid-Am Championship Regulations.

2.  The course is a 1.8 mile road course, asphalt surface, minimum width of 34 feet, with numerous elevation changes.

3.  Race direction is COUNTERCLOCKWISE.

4.  Times and location of all activities will be as shown on the “Schedule” unless changed by the Stewards of the Meet.

Registration and Entries

5.  Registrar: Betty Martin, 5421 E. 21 Place, Tulsa, OK 74114, 918-744-6392, between 10 A.M.. and 9 P.M.

6.  Entry Fees: School $250; Regional $235; Schl/Regl. $275; Driver/Co-Driver $285. SRF, FSCCA, and SRSCCA add $10.00 for the regional race for SCCA Compliance fee. Fee includes a $20 per car repaving fee. See item 9.

7.  Drivers must present a current Regional or National License or Novice Permit and a current SCCA membership card. Anyone needing the Registrar to verify credentials with the National Office MUST NOTIFY her of this by Tuesday, May 17.

8.  All passes must be picked up prior to the closing of registration at NOON on Sunday, May 22 .

9.  Track repaving per car charge - $20.00 for each car entered. This represents a direct payment (included in the entry fee) of a surcharge being assessed by the operator of Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.

Drivers and Crew

10. Working transponders will be required.

11.  Trophies may be picked up at Hospitality when the results of a race are final. No trophies will be mailed.

12.  No more than 45 cars will be allowed on the track at one time.

13.  Admission to restricted areas (false grid, racing pits, tech area, etc.) will be by properly credentialed SCCA Photo ID only.

14.  Scales will be open Saturday, 10-1, and Sunday 8-11.

15.  All people except grid workers, starters, officials, and competitors in the race must clear the grid at the one minute warning. The field will not leave the grid until clearing is complete.

16.  All cars must have a current Annual inspection prior to competing.

17.  There will be one pace lap. All laps after the first pace lap will count as race laps.

18.  Drivers may be required to provide a crew person to report for assignment as a race worker if there is a shortage of race workers at this event.

19.  The track is closed to all vehicular traffic both before and after the event.

20.  The Chief Steward will require impound of the first three finishers in each class in the Regional races.

21.  Any driver arriving at the grid after the one minute warning will be gridded at the end of the field.

22.  Legends cars must have SCCA logbooks, and drivers must have SCCA licenses.

23.  The Chief Steward may require fuel testing at impound.

24.  Logos or decals of sanctioning bodies other than SCCA will be allowed on race cars.

Paddock

25.  Racing fuel (108 octane leaded, 100 octane unleaded), air, and water will be available in the paddock.

26.  Speed limit for ALL VEHICLES in the paddock is 10 MPH.

27.  Bicycles, and two, three, and four-wheeled motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver.

28.  Camping by participants is allowed in non-restricted areas of the track.

29.  No motor homes, transports, or race cars on trailers are allowed on the track or on the pit-grid area paving.

30.  No loud music or noise between 10 P.M. and 6:30 A.M.

31.  All pets must be on a leash and attended at all times.

32.  No products, concessions, or services shall be sold, advertised, or promoted on Hallett property without the proper liability insurance certificates on file and the express written consent of Hallett Motor Racing Circuit

33.  No smoking is permitted on the second floor of the tower building.

34.  Used oil must be disposed of in the provided receptacles, and used tires must not be left at the track.

35.  Electrical hookups are available in the paddock area for a fee. Arrangements for the use of electricity must be made with the track management.

36.  Licensor will assess a charge of $100.00 for each stake or hole put in the asphalt by any competitor or member of licensee's organization.

Hallett Tune and Test Day

Friday – May 20, 2005

Hallett Motor Racing Circuit has the following services available for both the beginning racer and the most seasoned veteran:

Fuel: 104 GT plus Sunoco unleaded/110 purple racing fuel. At fuel facility just north of the HMRC Tower.

Air: At tire truck, south of tower.

Water: Directly north of tower.

Tires: GOODYEAR competition tires are available on site by calling Stephens Brothers Racing (918-583-1136) and ordering your size and compound two weeks prior to event. Visa and Mastercard accepted.

Racers’ Shop: Equipment, gifts, and apparel on the ground floor of the Tower.

Race Cars: Stephens Brothers Racing School of High Performance Driving has Spec Racer Fords or World Sports Racers available to rent for the Test Day, Regional, and National races. To schedule call 918-583-1136 or Fax 918-583-1135.

Test Day: Cars will be spaced to discourage drafting, dicing, etc. 7 sessions for $150.00.

Each participant may be required to work a corner or have a crew member work a corner for part of the day.
