GUEST SPEAKER – PATRICIA LOCK-DAWSON – FOUNDER OF SANTA ANA RIVER TRUST

A pathway for walkers, bikers and hikers along the Santa Ana River has been in progress for 40-50 years from the San Bernardino Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The Santa Ana River Trust was formed in 2011 to develop projects and programs that beautify the river and surrounding areas, increase the use of the Santa Ana River Trail and engage the community to create active river stewards in our area. A grant was received in 2011 to improve neighborhood access to the river, trails and related parks.

A map was produced that details the river, trail and access points available to everyone for free. It is available at bike shops and the Mayor’s office at the City of Riverside.

You are encouraged to become a member, attend an event or “Like” the trust on Facebook

The Santa Ana River Trust is located at 4075 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA 92501. 951-788-0670 or 951-536-6452
