Logging On

To use Service Pact you will need to log on to the website. You will need your:

  • Username
  • Password
  • PIN number (which you will set the first time you use the service)

Existing users of Service PACT will already have their usernames, passwords and PIN number

To access Service Pact, using your browser, go to:

At the Service Pact log-in page enter your username and click the _Sign In_button.

You will be taken to password page:

You are asked to enter specificcharacters of your password and PIN ­ click the _Sign In_button whencomplete.

If you have entered all the details requested correctly you will be logged in and taken to your home page. This page will display:

  • Details of your pharmacy
  • The PCT for which you are delivering services
  • A list of Service Pact modules that you use

You may also see important messages from your PCT or from Webstar Health

Minor Ailments

To access the Service Pact Minor Ailments module, click on the link under the list of services that you are participating in.

The main page that you will view when entering the module will be the ‘Add Consultation’ Page:

This page is the starting point to enter details of a new consultation. You must ‘tick’ the box to confirm the patient agrees to the ‘Confidentiality & Consent Statement’ before you can continue.

Managing Patients

To record any consultation that you carry out, the details of the patient you are treating must first be recorded. This can be done in a number of different ways.

Adding a Consultation(Home Page)

Enter all or part of the patient details and click on _Search_.

If the patient is already registered they will appear in the tabulated list.

To add a consultation for any patient click on ‘Add Consultation’ in the far right column of the table and complete the consultation.(See Consultation section on page 6).

If the patient is not registered click on “ CLICK HERE to register a new patient “ the following screen appears:

Complete the fields as required – where applicable, click on ‘Please select’ to see the list of choices available to you.

Positioning your cursor over the  symbol will show you additional help on the screen

Once the patient details have been entered click on_Next_

This then takes you to a confirmation screen where you can _Print_, _Edit_,_Save_ or _Save and Add Consultation_.If you select Print the summary is then printed off so the customer can sign to say they received treatment.

New patients can also be added from the ‘Patients’ page by clicking ‘Add / Search’ and following the same process as detailed above.

Editing an Existing Patient

From the ‘Patients’menu click on ‘Add/Search’and the registered patients are listed:

You can amend details on this page by clicking on ‘Edit’ in the ‘Action’ column of the table.

You can enter data in the appropriate fields and click _Search_ to shorten the list

You can re-sort the list by clicking the heading of a column (e.g. _Postcode_)

When your changes to the patient record are complete,click on _Next_and then _Cancel_, _Edit_,_Save_ or _Save and Add Consultation_.

Consultations

As in other parts of the site, the fields marked with an asterisk in RED are mandatory*.

Adding a consultation can be done as part of the registration process if the patient is a first time user by clicking on _Save and Add Consultation_.

Once a patient has been registered or is an existing patient you can add a consultation.

From the menu on the left,under ‘Consultations’, click on ‘Add’. You then search for the patient by entering their details and clicking on _Search_.

The patient will then appear in the table. Click on the ‘Add Consultation’ link in the ‘Action’ column.

Then complete all the mandatory fields:

If the ‘Pharmacist / Staff’ member completing the consultation isn’t in the drop down list when you click ‘Please select’ you can select ‘Add to list’ and enter the details as required:

Your answer to the question ‘Was Medication Supplied’ will determine what additional information is required. Answering ‘No’ asks for the reason and condition. Answering ‘Yes’ asks you to select the medication, quantity, condition and payment type:

You can add multiple conditions and/or products if required.

You may be asked to enter additional details if the product is supplied for family members.

Saving the Consultation

Once you have completed all the required fields you can click can _Cancel_ or_Next_.

You should see the confirmation screen:

You can choose can _Edit_,_Save_ , _Save and Add Consultation_or _Print_.

If you don’t see these options, review the data you have entered:

  • You may have missed a mandatory field
  • You may have entered incorrect data
  • This patient may have exceeded the pre-set supply criteria

If applicable, make the necessary corrections and try again

To record the consultation you must click on the _Save_ button. Once you have saved the consultation you will be returned to your original page showing all consultations.

Consultations that have not been processed for payment at month end can be viewed or edited– click ‘View’ or ‘Edit’ as required.

Consultations that have been processed for payment allow only the ‘View’ option.

Navigating the Site

The left hand menu allows users to navigate through various sections of the site. The key areas are:

  • Consultations
  • ‘Add’ a new consultation or ‘Search’ for a previous one
  • Patients
  • ‘Add’ a new patient or ‘Search’ for an existing one
  • Formulary
  • View the Formulary (click on a drug name to see the pricing history)
  • GP Report
  • Allows you to search a specific GP Surgery details in a set time period for a list of patients that have used the Minor Ailments Service.
  • Invoices
  • View a copy of the invoices submitted on your behalf for payment
  • Materials
  • View any useful documentation (SLA, PGD etc.)
  • Contact Us
  • See details of Webstar’s contact details or send us an email
