Please send your quotation valid for 60 days in sealed/taped cover so as to reach this office on or before 17.8.2006 upto 2.30 PM, should be addressed to Director, NISCAIR and submit at NISCAIR Book Shop, on the above mentioned address. While submitting quotations kindly take care of the following:
i) We are interested in the materials available from ready stock, offers of deferred time bound supplies may also be considered.
(ii) The prices quoted should be “For free delivery” at NISCAIR Building at Pusa and Satsang Vihar Marg Campus. .
(iii)The rates should include packing charges.
iv) The rate of Sales Tax/VAT should be clearly indicated whether the rates are inclusive in the quoted price or will be charged extra. If it will be charged extra then rate of VAT should be shown (Form C or D not applicable).
v) Warranty period may also be mentioned in quotation.

vi) Each quotation should be Sealed/taped and superscribed “Quotation for Computers and Peripherals etc. No.18 (26)/2005-Pur dated 27.7.2006 Due Date for opening 17.8.2006 at 3.00 p.m.
vii) The quotations will be opened in the presence of the representatives, if any of the quoting firms on the date and time mentioned above.
Viii) Payment for supply will be made by crossed “Account Payee” cheque on the Syndicate Bank, New Delhi after receipt of the Stores in good condition directly to the supplier.
Ix) You shall indicate in your quotation your permanent Sales Tax/VAT Account Number.
X) The printed conditions on your quotations letter, if any, shall not be binding on us.
Xi) In case you are not in a position to send your quotations this time, please state so, failing which your name is liable to be removed from our mailing list.
Xii) The acceptance of the quotation will rest with Director, NISCAIR, who does not bind himself to accept the lowest quotation and reserves the right to reject or partially accept any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason.
xiii) Before submitting bid, it must be ensured by the vendor that

Ivx) Interested vendors other than whom tender enquiry sent may also quote after submitting written consent /request to Director, NISCAIR and submit it personally or by post at NISCAIR, Book Shop on the above mentioned address before the last date and time of submission of tender. Quotation received without any written request /consent will be summarily rejected.
The quotations are liable to be cancelled, if any of the above conditions are not complied with.
