The InXpress booking and quotation system works 24hrs / 7 days from any computer. All you need is your Company ID, Login and Password for access.

Online booking deadline: To ensure your item is collected TODAY,your online booking must be in the system by 2.30pmto allow job allocation by carrier.

For that special customer that requires a little more TLC,or for any consignments that absolutely, positively must get there on time, once you have booked the job send me an email with the following details and I’ll keep you posted on its progress:

CUBIC WEIGHT CALCULATOR

Cubic Weight or commonly known as ‘Cubed’ Weight, is used when the space a package takes up on a truck / aircraft costs more than the package's actual weight.

Cubic weight is calculated firstly by measuring and multiplying the Length, Width and Height of the parcel. The resulting parcel volume is then multiplied by the industry standard cubic weight conversion factor to get the cubic capacity.

For Domestic, use either 250 or 333
For International use 167
Note: check carriers for their cubed multiplier

To ensure you have the correct pricing to dispatch an item, calculate the ‘Cubed’ weight for every shipment and compare the cubed weight to its actual or ‘dead’ weight, and use the greater of the two to determine yourshipping cost.

Cubic Metre Volume ( m3 ) X 167 / 250 / 333 =

For example: A parcel measuring 40cm long (0.4m) x 30cm wide (0.3m) x 20cm high (0.2m) is equal to 0.024 Cubic Metre Volume.

0.024 Cubic Metre Volume multiplied by the conversion factor of 250 gives a Cubic Weight of 6kg. i.e 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.3 = 0.024

0.024 x 250 = 6 kgs

Note: If the parcel’s actualweight is only 4kg, postage would be assessed as being 6kg by the carriers as per the cubic calculation.
