IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE PAID Rs. 1,00,000/- TO CLAT OFFICE AND ARE ALLOTTED TO NALSAR FOR ADMISSION TO

UNDER-GRADUATE PROGRAMME - 5-YEAR B.A., LL.B. (HONS.)

2014 – 15

  • All the candidates allotted to NALSAR who have exercised their option to remain with NALSAR only and do not want their candidature to be considered for their next higher preference are required to pay the total fee of Rs. 1,30,000/- (Rs. 1,24,000/- in case of SC / ST) by way of a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, NALSAR University of Law’, payable at Hyderabad, or by transferring the amount electronically to Current Account No. 768053142 Indian Bank, Shameerpet Branch, IFSC Code – IDIB 000S166, MICR Code – 500019029, Swift Code – 000_053694 IDIBINBBHIM, Indian Bank.

Note: Those candidates who have been allotted to NALSAR but still have the option for up-gradation in further lists as per their merit-cum-preference need not make the payment and need not follow the procedure as indicated hereunder till their final allotment to NALSAR by CLAT Office.

  • All the candidates finally allotted to NALSAR or exercised the option to remain with NALSAR are required to send the Photostat copies of the following documents along with the payment, either by courier or by email (scanned copies) for advance verification so as to reach the Registrar on or before June 25, 2014:
  • Proof of amount paid to CLAT Office (Rs. 1,00,000/-)
  • Proof of payment made to NALSAR (Rs. 1,30,000/- or Rs. 1,24,000/- as the case may be)
  • SSC or 10th Class Marks Statement / Pass Certificate containing the date of birth
  • 12th Class Marks Statement
  • 12th Class Study Certificate and Residence Certificate in A.P. for a minimum period of four years (applicable for candidates allotted under Resident Students of A.P. Category)
  • Caste Certificate / Disability Certificate, wherever applicable
  • CLAT – 2014 Admit Card
  • Candidates are required to report for admission at NALSAR University of Law, Justice City, Shameerpet Campus only on the scheduled date and time (Schedule attached as separate file).If you do not report and complete the admission formalities on the appointed date and time, the provisional admission offered to you shall automatically stand cancelled. No request for extension of time for payment of tuition fee etc, shall be entertained under any circumstances. If you fail to produce the original Marks Statements of the XII standard or equivalent examination on the day of your admission, your candidature for admission shall automatically stand cancelled.
  • Candidates are required to download the attached Admission Application Form, Hostel Application Form and Local Guardian Form and bring the duly filled-in formsalong with the following original documents on the day of admission / counseling at NALSAR:

  • 12th Class Study Certificate and Residence Certificate in A.P. for a minimum period of four years(applicable for candidates belonging to A.P.)
  • Conduct Certificate

  • Migration Certificate
  • Caste Certificate / Disability Certificate, wherever applicable
  • CLAT – 2014Admit Card
  • Eight Stamp Size Photographs
  • Medical Report on Blood Group / allergies
  • Confirmation of admission will be subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and completion of admission formalities on the scheduled date and time.
  • Room allotment in the Hostel will be done on the day of admission. Orientation programme is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on July 2, 2014. The parents are also requested to make it convenient to attend the same. Classes will start from July3, 2014. You would get double-seated room. The University will provide only a chair, table and cot in the room.
  • You are required to make your own arrangements to procure mattress, bed sheets, bed cover, pillows, pillow covers, window curtains, lock and keys in triplicate, Bucket, Mug and other items required for your stay.The material will also be available in the stores on Campus on payment.
  • Indian Bank Staff will be available on the day of admission and you may open the Savings Bank Account on the same day.
  • Uniform:

Trouser - Black; Shirt - White;

Tie-Black;Coat- Black;

Shoe - Black.

All the students of first year are required to wear the uniform regularly and for all guest lectures and official functions of the University. Hence, all the students are required to procure minimum of four trousers, four shirts and one black coat.
