What is Mystery Person?

I’m sure you have heard of special person or child of the week. Well, Mystery Person is the same idea with a twist. Several activities in our classroom will use the mystery theme. Using a baby picture the children will try to guess who the next Mystery Person will be. To make this work well please do not let your child use this schedule to figure out who will be next. Please send a baby picture of your child in an envelope labeled with their name to school by September 9th. The pictures will be kept in a safe place and returned at the end of the year.

Photo Board

The schedule for Mystery Person of the Week is on page one. On the second day of the week listed for your child, please send some photographs arranged on tag board including baby pictures to current photos. A caption written under each photo would be a good idea too!

Collections

Kids usually love to collect things. If your child has a collection (15 pieces or less) to display during his/her week, please fill out and return the attached form, with the collection on Tuesday of the scheduled week. Unusual collections seem to be more interesting!

Mystery Box

This is another mystery activity. We have a special box inour room called…The Mystery Box. Please help your child select something that belongs to him/her to place in the mystery box. We will ask “yes and no” questions during the week to help us guess what is in the box. We will also be lightly shaking the box, so do not send breakable items for this activity. Mystery Box starts on day one.
