My favorite American writer
Monkey think, monkey do… Touch the reality and fill like a tiny piece of this enormous universe. Try to distinguish what our day-to-day life is made of in its essence. Do you really admire your current social status, your more or less well-deserved salary, your household? Could you imagine if every damned thing you have at the moment might not be like this and there is no way to change anything? And you’ve got no time or no force to endeavor to struggle against! There is no a sole answer… it is seemed to be there is no any answer from the first eyesight. But if you strain your eyes (if it is hard to do well, please take glasses) you will be surprised much… One watermelon contains less seeds than how many choise sets this imperishable world has.
Basic creative work’s matter of my favorite American writer Chuck Palachniuk, as I can hardly interpret it, is the problem of human’s decision whether to choose a calm and tranquil life as millions have or to live a life like a rave machine, short, bright, furious and reckless.
An author of “Fight Club” that bursted planet, killed all the psychoes, cranks and junkies, those who live in want and throw away his money, all the clerks wasting their time next to computers’ displays and ordinary people, Palachniuk is reputed as a genius of so-called “next generation”. His “Choke” scandalously proved to everyone that to take pity on a dying man is a right way to be caught by swindler’s net. Sex addicts also have five senses. Finally, love can break down either strong law or generally accepted custom, even theology.
Never mind if Palachniuk books are full of vulgarity and lust. Among a keep of rough, brute and simply unpleasant words a great meaning of being is concealed. “Lullaby” of happiness is brought to you not by drugs or any other psychotropic agent. It can appear in one’s consciousness due to unusual human deeds. Just show yourself how much can friends’ lives cost, write down this fair value in your “Diary” and you will get access to the only way to survive.
Fashion business, last flight of a murderer, alternating personality gathered together closely coupled with each other in Palachniuk’s creation. Be frightened by mass of blood and corpses over there, but be made laugh with funny stories occur in books as well.
Critics, being referred to classic literature, ignore Chuck Palachniuk’s “alternative” talent without a doubt. But many teenagers (it should be emphasized, not only teenagers, but many adults) respect the author. May be it is a weighty part of secret of his such a glorious popularity.Fan clubs all over the world, internet stores and global acknowledgement should make everyone think if Palachniuk is one more upstart in literature who is going to be forgot at the day after tomorrow, or a star who is going to sparkle in readers’ hearts.
Palachniuk’s philosophy directs to system servants who are used to live, not to use life. Palachniuk show the difference between incompatible phenomenasuch as religion and corporations, murder and rebirth, solitude and general enmity. You can… you can change the world. Start from yourself. Make friends smile, make children laugh, be honest to yourself, be grateful to your parents, be sincere in your wishes, be violent in your fillings…Fight with yourself before start to fight with enemy. Because your real enemy is yourself. Conquer yourself and all the enemies will obey.
As for me, I disagree with a lot of what Palachniuk affirms. But I can claim I was changed much after had read him… and surely do not regret about it.
