Multicultural Ministries Ethnic Leadership Development Initiative

Jesus called a specific group of men and spent the majority of his time in ministry disciplining them. He commissioned them to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”.

Vision:

To select 20-25 young leaders from the different ethnic groups to be coached, trained and mentored for leadership for the USA/Canada region in a two-year program.

Implementation:

The ethnic facilitators will assist in the selection process of these young leaders from their particular people group under the following criteria. The candidate must:

1.  Be active in ministry and serving in a local church;

2.  Have ministerial education background;

3.  Be a potential candidate for membership on the SRT committee;

4.  Be willing to be cultivated by a coaching system for two-year.

5.  Have a mentor during the two-year program.

A once-a-year seminar will be organized during the program. One of the seminars will be at the GMC facilities and the other at one of the national or regional events. The GMC seminar will be organized with some of GMC’s leaders with the objective of knowing and being known.

The Multicultural Ministries Director will plan and convene the seminars. A coach will assist in structuring the coaching aspect of the program.

The first cohort will start in August 2015 and end in June 2017.

A second cohort will be schedule 2018-2020

Disciples (leaders) are not manufactured wholesale. They are produced one by one, because someone has taken the pains to discipline, to instruct and enlighten, to nurture and train one that is younger. ---Oswald Sanders---
