Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge

Situated within Denali State Park on the Chulitna River, two hours north of Anchorage, Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge is a true wilderness retreat. Boasting an incredible view of majestic Mt. McKinley, the lodge offers vaulted ceilings, massive stone fireplace, lobby piano, outdoor hot tubs, a children’s playground and nature trails that stretch for miles. From the moment you arrive at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, you know you’re somewhere special.

Hotel Amenities

Along with a room so spectacular we called it The Great Room; the main lodge also features a dining room, coffee shop, tour desk and meeting rooms. A half mile loop road surrounds 18 guest room buildings providing walking trails in a park like setting and convenient sitting areas, allowing guests to enjoy the wilderness setting.

Each of our guest rooms is nestled peacefully throughout this wilderness getaway, featuring the utmost in comfort, our 460 room’s offer nine-foot ceiling with fans, a sitting area, television and a telephone. There are a total of 18 guest room buildings spread over 17 acres.

Directions

From Anchorage or Fairbanks-The Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodges sits on the banks of the Chulitna River, in Denali State Park on the south side of Mt. McKinley. Access the lodge at milepost 133 on the George Parks Highway. Turn east on Mt. McKinley View Drive and head up the hill to the lodge entrance. The lodge is just two hours north of Anchorage, or four and a half hours south of Fairbanks.
