Picture Make-up and Re-takes During PE classes D-11

8th Grade Football vs. John Muir 3:45 pm Canyon

PICTURE MAKE-UPS and RE-TAKES: Students, please take your make-up or re-take pictures during your PE class TODAY! If you were absent on picture day in September, you MUST take a picture today. (10/15-Flores)

6th GRADE GIFT WRAP SALE: Sixth graders....this is the last weekend you will have to sell gift wrap. The sale ends next Wednesday. Remember you earn 40% of what you sell towards your Outdoor School fund. Gift wrap orders and payments are due to your first period teacher on Wednesday, Oct. 21st. (10/15-16-DeYoung)

PLEASE MAKE AFTER SCHOOL PLANS IN ADVANCE: Students and families… please make after school arrangements before leaving home! If you play sports, you need to have a back-up plan for when games are canceled. A back up plan is also needed when it rains if you will not be walking home. The office received over a dozen calls late yesterday with parents wanting to get messages to students. Getting these messages to students disrupts the instructional setting for all students. We appreciate your cooperation. (10/14-Administration)

THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED NEXT WEEK starting on Monday, October 19th through Wednesday, October 28th (8 days). Please make other plans if you normally spend time there before school or during lunch. (10/14-Administration)

TELEPHONE USE: Please remember that you must ask an adult before using your cell phone. You must also stay in the presence of that adult while on your phone. In addition, effective Monday, Oct. 19th the $1.00 fee for using the office phone will be enforced. We are having far too many students using the phone after school. (10/14-Torrez)

BEWARE OF RATTLESNAKES: No, this is not a Halloween trick. Our school is beautifully surrounded by trees and bushes and there are rattlesnakes. PLEASE do not touch any snake that you might see. If you see a rattlesnake, let an adult know immediately. Though baby rattlesnakes may be cute… they are very poisonous. DO NOT PICK UP ANY SNAKES!! (10/12-Administration)
