 If you find a course in the program materials that is not listed below, stop by the International Office. We will provide you with the forms necessary to obtain the Allegheny course equivalency.

 Courses taken on this program are listed as U of M transfer credit on the Allegheny transcript; the grades are NOT factored into your Allegheny course equivalency. Courses will transfer with the number of credits as listed below (or as on the U of M transcript). Only courses with a grade of “C” or above will transfer to Allegheny.

 Courses with multiple equivalencies indicate cross-listings only; courses cannot be counted twice for graduation requirements.

 Internships, case studies and directed research MUST have Allegheny Department approval for transfer PRIOR to departure. Retroactive approval is NOT guaranteed!

 The MSID-Nairobi, Kenya program is a fall, spring or academic year program.

 A one-credit cultural adjustment workshop spread over the semester will assure systematic preparation for, and processing of the intercultural experience.
