Day 4 / Math–Practice your math facts using Xtra Math or flash cards.
English/Language Arts –
Read for 15-20 minutes and fill out your book log.
Other- Prepare your 10 identical items for the bartering simulation on Friday. / Tomorrow is Day 5- We have Music / Math: We have finished our last math test. At this time we will be reviewing everything we have covered this year.
Writing: In writing we will continue to work on our opinion writing. We are also working on writing Thank You notes to the Walk to Wayne businesses that we visited. Lastly, we will work on our final quick write for the year.
Reading:We will continue working on Unit 6 and then begin talking about poetry.
Social Studies/Science: In social studies we will be talking about bartering. We will have many discussions about our Walk to Wayne trip. We will be taking our final science and social studies assessments within the next two weeks.
Other: This week we are going to spend some time compiling everything we have learned over the year. The students will be creating iMovies to share during our end of the year breakfast Monday June 12th from 9:15-10:00am.
Strings Measuring:
If you signed up to play an instrument Mrs. Steinmetz will be measuring you to see what size instrument you need. This will occur on Tuesday. If you are still interested in signing up to play an instrument please let me know.
Red and White Day:
On Friday we will be having red and white day. Please read the following reminders…
- Wear a hat
- Bring a water bottle with your first and last name on it.
- Wear red, white or both.
