A look at last week:We worked with the letters Qq, Rr, Ss, & Tt. In math we worked on different ways to represent numbers. (tally marks, number word, number, ten frame, and picture representation)We learned about scientific tools and how and why they are important to scientists. I also continued assessing for DRA2.

Homework Reminders:
- Please review shape songs/poems
- Please be sure that your name is on your homework.
- Report cards will go home on October 30th and I will begin parent/teacher conferences the week of Oct. 19th.
Ice cream on Wednesdays
We will be able to buy it every Wednesday. The cost is $.60. You may send money in that day or you may add money to your child’s account. Please be sure that ice cream money is in a marked envelope with your child’s name on it.

We need to really build up some fine motor skills. Help us at home by:
- Break out the play dough
- Let them use tweezers to pick up small items
- Let them practice cutting with scissors
- Playing with the small Legos

Seesaw is a new app we’re using to share what your child is learning at school. This is an online journal of work pieces and photos of your child working in the classroom. Please see the note in our folders today about See-Saw. It has a QR Code set up just for your child’s account. You must have QR reader downloaded to access the file.
