PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

Dear Councillor / Resident

I hereby give notice of a Parish Council Meeting that will be held in the Cranham Village Hall on Tuesday 7 November 2017 at 7.30pm. All Residents of the Parish are welcome and Members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the business of considering and resolving upon the matters as set out below.

A 15 minute period of time will be set aside between 7.30pm and 7.45pm for Members of the Parish to raise questions.

1.Apologies(To receive apologies for absence).

2.Declaration of Interest (Members are requested to declare any interest they may have in the business set out on the Agenda to which the approved Code of Practice appears.)

3.Approval of the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Tuesday 5thSeptember 2017.

4.Planning Consider planning application:

S.17/2239/HHOLD - Woodburn, Cranham; Replace conservatory with rear full width single storey extension and internal alterations

5.To receive the Following Reports:

a.County Councillor

b.District Councillor

c.Commons Management Committee

d.Playing Fields Management Committee

e.Village Hall Committee

f. Neighbourhood Watch

6.To receive an update from the Working Groupset up to consider the value in registering any Community Assets.

7.To receive an update in regards to obtaining a 20 mph Zone within the Parish.

8.To consider the issues raised during the Annual Parish Meeting and to put into place a Parish Action Plan.

9.To consider meeting with the GRCC Rural Housing Enabling Officer to discuss Affordable Housing in the Parish.

10.To consider attending Councillor training on 8 November 2017.

11.To consider a request from Cranham 2018 Pathway of Poppies to install a display in 2018.

12.To receive an update on the Archiving on the Parish Records.

13.Accounts.

  1. To approve the Accounts for Payment
  2. To consider a request for funding towards the upkeep of the Parish Church Yard.
  3. To receive and note the comments made by the External Auditor in respect of the audit for the year ended 31 March 2017.

14.Pursuant to 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 it is resolved that, because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, the Public and Press leave the meeting.

15.To consider employment of a Parish Clerk and discuss and agree the Terms of Employment.

16.Date of the next scheduled meeting – Tuesday 2nd January 2018in the Village Hall at 7.30pm.
