ROLE AND CONTEXT
Purpose
-  To assist in providing the highest standard of cleanliness within the Hospital
Context
Stockton Hall Psychiatric Hospital is a 112 bedded medium secure psychiatric service which specialises in the assessment, care and treatment of patients deemed to be suffering from mental illness, personality disorder and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
-  To assist in the provision of a professional housekeeping service within Stockton Hall Hospital
Dimensions
-  Housekeeping Department consists of 20 staff at present managed by the Hotel Services Manager
-  112 bed medium secure hospital
-  250 full time staff
-  20 bank staff

NEED TO DO
Key Outputs
§  To clean and maintain all allocated areas
§  To clean and maintain the fixtures, fittings and furnishings and report any defects arising
§  Implement and maintain all cleaning schedules
§  To ensure all cleaning materials and chemicals are used in accordance with COSHH
§  To ensure that all areas are adequately stocked with supplies and that the stock control system in place is adhered to
§  To ensure good practices of health & safety are carried out
§  Assist the Team Leaders when and where necessary
§  Assist the Hotel Services Manager when and where necessary.
