TO ALL FELLOWS AND MEMBERS OF BMOGS

BMOGS AUTUMN MEETING – FRIDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2016

NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE MEDICAL INSTITUTE, HARTSHILL, ST4 7NX

Please find attached a booking form and programme for the forthcoming BMOGS Autumn Meeting. The meeting is to be held at the North Staffordshire Medical Institute Hartshill. I very much hope that you will be able to join us, and also encourage your colleagues and trainees to attend.

The programme will include excellent scientific presentations, trainees' prize presentations and posters and in addition we are holding a MRCOG Masterclass session which will be organised by Miss Ward, in order to attract more of our trainees. This will be suitable for trainees about to sit the MRCOG part 2 exam within the next year or so. Trainees will be asked to register for the seminar on the booking form for the meeting so that sufficient teaching materials can be prepared. If your trainee is about to sit the exam, please tell them about this opportunity.

Our keynote lecturers are covering a wide spectrum of issues and challenges facing our specialty and include: Gestational diabetes, placenta accrete and robotic surgery in gynaecology.

Following the meeting there will be a dinner with entertainment at Aston Marina.

Should you wish to attend we would be grateful if you could return the Booking Form to the address shown thereon with your attendance details, including a cheque for the appropriate fee by Monday 26th September. The charges are £60 (Consultants), £35 (trainees) for the day, including lunch. Dinner will be £35 per head.

For the Partners Programme we have arranged a trip the newly opened Wedgewood Museum and a visit to Trentham Gardens

We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting and hope you will find it an instructive and enjoyable event.

Yours sincerely

Professor P M S O’BrienMiss S Ward
