In charge for all the projects implemented in the Fragrances Ingredients Plant in Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro
During this period more than 300 projects were developed ranging from small projects with an investment of 10,000 USD to major projects with investments of 18 MM USD
Main projects implemented:
· Transfer of installations in Tlalnepantla to Pedro Escobedo
· Installations to produce Benzyl Salicylate including two reactors and two distillation columns
· Construction of Reactor II building including 5 reactors
· Construction of a new reactor building (Shed 700) including 3 reactors
· Installation of two reactors and two distillation columns (one skid mounted unit constructed by Sulzer in Switzerland)
· Installation of one reactor for the production of Mechacaps (encapsulated perfumes to be used in softeners)
· Design and construction of water treatment plants I and II
· Design and construction of Hydrogenation Reactor.
Responsibilities for all those projects included:
· Preparation of the basic design
· Costs estimates
· Credit applications submission for approval to the Leadership Board in Switzerland.
· Supervision of detailed engineering
· Purchasing and expediting of key equipment
· Coordination for the purchasing of instruments, materials and accessories
· Construction supervision
· Cold and hot commissioning
· Handover of installations to production and maintenance
· Follow up and optimization after hand over to customers

Process engineer in charge of design of heat exchangers and condensers and their implementation. Participated in the design, construction and supervision of chemical and petrochemical plants including the following:
· Chlorine plant for DuPont in Altamira
· Several improvements in the Rubber Plant Negromex in Salamanca
· Grass roots project for Negromex in Altamira
· Optimization of cooling water system and turbine operation for CFE installations
· Gas sweetening plant for Pemex
· Construction installation and commissioning of a Skid mounted unit for the production of sodium benzoate plant for Esquim in Cuernavaca.
· Reconstruction of damaged boiler for Celanese in Coatzacoalcos
· Alpha Methyl Dopa plant for Merck in Atlacomulco

While working with Bufete Industrial I was transferred to Imperial Chemical Industries in the UK for a period of two years where I participated in the design of an Ammonia production plant.
