ECS Yearbook

Our 2016-2017 ECS Yearbook Members!
This year’s crew consists of Zakia Alam, Rylee Smith, Amber Thompson, Clair Calwell, Emily Varty, Erik Josdal, Brynn Smith, Tara Sherwin, and Cheyenne Jans. This year’s Advisors are Ms. Thompson and Mrs. Lewis.

Are you thinking about joining yearbook, but aren’t sure what it is all about? There is still time for interested Grade 6 through 12 students to join our team. This is a great way to generate ideas, express your creativity, develop teamwork skills, work collaboratively with others, utilize technology in new ways, preserve ECS memories, etc. Please ask one of our Advisors for information. Yearbook meetings will begin soon. Please watch for details.

Last year’s Yearbook Members are proud of our 2015-2016 creation. One of our goals was to showcase as much student learning as possible (through everyday classroom experiences, PBL projects, field trips, extra-curricular activities, etc.). Our 2015-2016 Yearbook is officially being printed! Please watch for details as to how to obtain your copy once they arrive. No pre-orders necessary.

Picture Day!
Picture day is currently scheduled for October 17th, 2016. More details to come.

ECS Yearbook Calendars are in!
Thank you for the positive support of our community calendar again this year. We appreciate the contributions by our local businesses and community families. This was a worthwhile undertaking and we are grateful for Mrs. Jones’ efforts in organizing our fundraiser. As well, a huge thank you to Mr. Steven Fersch for the awesome picture of our Elrose Composite School community.

For families with students in school, calendars are being sent home. For others, you are welcome to pick up your calendars at the school office at your convenience. There are a few extra copies available at Prairie Centre Credit Union, Royal Bank, and ECS for $15.00 each. Cheques can be made payable to Elrose School Yearbook.

A Picture is Worth 1000 Words!
As always, our Yearbook team appreciates pictures shared by staff, students, parents, coaches, and community members. We wish to showcase our ECS family learning together including such areas as classroom learnings, our PeBL journey, sporting activities, special events, field trips, community visits, fundraisers, etc. As you take pictures, please consider sharing with our Yearbook team. Thank you.
