RULES OF MONEYGRAM GOAL FOOTBALL MATCHES
- RULE 1 – GENERAL PARTICIPATION
1.1.All teams and all players will be subject to current rules and regulations stated herein.
1.2.All players must be over the age of 18 years old
- RULE 2 - FIELD OF PLAY
2.1 The pitchesare astroturf on ACT Club, Guangzhou
2.1.The field of play will be 40m (L) and 30m (W).
2.2.The ball remains “in play” if it bounces off the inflatable pitch around the perimeter of the field of play
2.3.The ball is “out of play” if it goes over the inflatable pitch placed around the perimeter of the field of play
2.4.There is no designated Penalty Area,
2.5.The inflatable pitches are the perimeter of the Field of Play of MoneyGram Goal
- RULE 3 – EQUIPMENT
3.1.All players must wear shoes (Trainers/Boots) (No Metal Studs)
3.2.Uniforms – Participating teams must wear a uniform, supplied by the DPM Events
- RULE 4 - PLAYERS, ROSTERS, AND SUBSTITUTIONS
- Five (5) players per team and no more than five (5) substitutes
4.2.There is a designated Goal Keeper, who may use his hands in the field of play
4.3.Substitutions will be made on the fly, through the designated “Substitution Channel”. Substitutes can only enter the field of play once the other player has left the field through the “Substitution Channel” - decision taken by the team captain.
- RULE 5 - THE GAME
- Coin toss - Winner shall receive the choice to kick-off.
5.2.One 10 minutes continuous game with no half time.
5.3.Overtime will only be played during playoffs. First scorer wins
5.4.A kick-off begins from the center of floor, on the referee's whistle.
5.5.The ball must travel forward from the kick off
5.6.Opposing players must be at least 2 metres from the ball at kick off
5.7.All Free Kicks are indirect. The ball may be kicked in any direction from a Free Kick.
5.8.When a player is taking a Free Kick, all opposing players shall remain at least 2 metres away until the ball is kicked.
5.9.There are no spot-kick penalties except in the case of a drawn game after extra time.
5.10.
5.11. The best of five penalty shoot-out will then progress and should it be a tie after best of five penalties then it will be sudden death penalties until one team scores and another does not.

6.1.1.1.ULE 6 – SCORING
6.1A goal is scored when the whole ball has passed over the goal line between the goal post and between the crossbar and floor, provided the ball has not been intentionally thrown, carried or propelled, by hand or arms, by a player of any side.
6.2.The match is re-started by a kick-off from the conceding team.
- RULE 7 – OUT OF BOUNDS
7.1.If the ball is kicked out of bounds (over the inflatable), play is re-commenced with a kick in from the point it crossed the side-line or by-line.
The team with the last contact with the ball concedes the kick in to the opposing team.
8. RULE 8 - FOULS AND MISCONDUCT
7.2.A player shall be penalized if s/he intentionally spits, kicks, strikes, pushes, trips, and attempts to kick, strike, or jump at an opponent or official.
- CONSEQUENCE: Offending player receives a 2-minute suspension with no replacement and concedes an indirect Free Kick.
8.1Any player deliberately handling the ball will be penalized.
- CONSEQUENCE: Offending player receives a 2-minute suspension with no replacement and concedes an indirect Free Kick.
8.2Pushing or forcing a player out of bounds.
- CONSEQUENCE: Offending player receives a 2-minute suspension with no replacement and concedes an indirect Free Kick.
9.
8.2.1RULE 9 - ACTS RELEVANT TO MISCONDUCT OR FIGHTING
9.1If any player is ejected from the game the team must play shorthanded for a period of 2 minutes. The player must leave the playing area immediately.
9.2If an ejection occurs with less than 2 minutes to go in regulation play the remaining time will not be carried over into the team’s next game.
9.3If a player is suspended twice in the same game, that player will not be allowed to return to the playing field for the remainder of the game

9.3.1RULE 10 – TOURNAMENT POINTS
10.1The winning team gets 3 points. The losing team zero. If a match ends in a draw, each team gets 1 point
10.2Criteria for team’s position within a group
a) points
b) goal difference (scored - received)
c) number of scored goals
d) direct match (advantage to team which scores first in event of draw).
11TOURNAMENT PRIZE FUND
11.1the prize for the winning team will be $2,000 USD and $1,000 USD for the runner up
11.2This will be paid within 7 days of the event to each team

MoneyGram Goal – Terms and Conditions for Participation
1. Participation
1.1 These terms and conditions which govern the participation in MoneyGram Goal football matches constitute a binding contract between you and DPM Event Management LLC. (“DPM Events“).
1.2You may only participate in MoneyGram Goal if you enter into this contract. You are required to obtain parental consent if you are under 18 years of age. Failure to obtain parental consent as required by DPM Events shall give DPM Events the option to terminate this contract.
1.3 DPM Events’s tournament rules and rules for games which may be found at all these sheets which will be handed to each player. Upon entering in this contract you agree to be bound by such rules.
2. Registration
2.1Registrations may be submitted through PSBC locations or via the phone number which is supplied. You are required to register with a team comprising a minimum of five and maximum of ten players. All players must individually enter into this contract.
2.2 Individuals over the age of 18may participate in MoneyGram Goal.
2.3 DPM Events reserves the right to limit the number of teams participating. DPM Events reserves the right to reject any application by terminating this contract at its discretion.
2.4DPM Events is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer/Internet transmissions or other errors or malfunctions of any kind which may prevent receipt by DPM Events of a duly completed Registration Form.
2.5 All teams which are allocated a place will be notified by way of e-mail, phone or mail confirmation.
3. Participant’s Declarations, Acknowledgements & Obligations
3.1You acknowledge that participation in the tournament is at your own risk, and that participation in a football tournament involves inherent risks of accidents and injury, even if participants comply with the rules of the game.
3.2 You acknowledge that third parties, particularly those upon whom you have inflicted those injuries by irregular play, could have a claim against you
3.3 You confirm:
(i)you have sufficient liability and health insurance and acknowledge that you have no claim against DPM Events in relation to provision of such insurance;
(ii)you will not use during participation or bring to the tournament any drugs or impermissible performance enhancing substances or other substances that are illegal;
(iii)you are in a good physical condition to participate in MoneyGram Goal;
(iv) you will not publish or post on any website or other media operated by DPM Eventsor related to MoneyGram Goal any text, statement, photograph, image or other material which is obscene, blasphemous, defamatory, infringes the intellectual property or other legal rights of any third party or is otherwise unlawful, offensive or inappropriate. DPM Events will have the right to remove any material at its discretion.
3.4You warrant that the team name selected or used by you does not infringe the intellectual property of any third party.
3.5 You acknowledge and allow DPM Events to process and use any personal data obtained from you in connection with your participation in MoneyGram Goal in accordance with data protection laws and regulations.
3.6 Your journeys to and from each event in the tournament shall be entirely at your own risk.
3.7 Your journeys to and from each event in the tournament shall be entirely at your own cost.
3.8 You authorise any first aid or medical treatment needed as well as the necessary transport in relation to any such accidents, injuries or illnesses in order to ensure the smooth administration of first aid and medical assistance in the event of an emergency. You shall be responsible for the costs of any off-site treatment or transport.
4. Prizes & Disqualification
4.1 MoneyGram Goal is organized by DPM Events. DPM Events will award prizes for the winners. DPM Events has the discretion to change the prizes and their composition. Only the match-winner is entitled to receive such prizes which attach specifically to a prize winner may not be transferred to a third party.
4.2 DPM Events reserves the right to change the time, location or format of MoneyGram Goal tournaments and may cancel or limit such events in whole or in part. DPM Events will notify you of any such changes.
4.3 DPM Events reserves the rights to disqualify teams or individual team members from the tournaments or in the course of the tournaments if:
(i)individual or all team members provide false information about themselves;
(ii)individual or all team members are under 18 years of age and provide false parental consent;
(iii)drugs or other impermissible performance enhancing substances or other illegal substances are consumed or offered to a third party by an individual team member or all team members;
(iv)team members are not sufficiently fit to participate in such an event without risk;
(v)individuals and/or team members breach any of the terms and conditions of this contract;
(vi)there are repeated major breaches by an individual team member of by all team members of the tournament rules
(vii)the functioning of the tournament is adversely affected by the conduct of an individual team member or all team members;
(viii)Another important reason exists which necessitates such disqualification.
4.4 DPM Events reserves the right to change the names of teams where the team name in question may infringe or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.
4.5 Football is a team sport. Disqualification may not affect just the individual team member but the entire team. You acknowledge that your whole team could be disqualified even if your own actions do not constitute grounds for disqualification.
4.6 You agree to abide by the directions of DPM Events, its staff or contractors and to behave appropriately at all times during the tournament.
5. Advertising & Publicity
5.1 DPM Events intends to publicly celebrate and announce the winners of the tournament. This may be done by way of reports and advertising in all areas of the media such as film, television, radio, printed publications, Internet, mobile telephone services, announcements and advertising at promotional events. Advertising shall include but not be limited to advertising for MoneyGram Goal, MoneyGram’s products or trademarks as well as products and trade marks of related and possible partners of MoneyGram for the implementation of MoneyGram Goal.
You accordingly agree to grant DPM Events the following rights:
(i)You grant DPM Events the exclusive, full and unlimited right to use at their discretion your name, your signature and other personal designations and the name of your team for the purpose of advertising or any media coverage;
(ii)You grant DPM Events the exclusive, full and unlimited right to produce and make available photographs and / or film recordings and / or sound recordings of you in the context of MoneyGram Goal and any subsequent promotional events, and to use these photographs and / or film recordings and / or sound recordings in their original and / or modified form in whole or in part for the purpose of advertising or any media coverage including but not limited to cinema, video/DVD, television, radio, printed publications, and the Internet including but not limited to depiction on website pages, emails and mobile telephone services; and
(iii)You grant DPM Eventsupon your agreement exclusive, full and unlimited right to conduct and make available interviews with you in the context of MoneyGram Goal and any subsequent promotional events.
DPM Events is permitted to sublicenses these rights to third parties. The grant to DPM Events of “exclusive” rights means that neither you nor a third party may use these rights.
5.2 You shall be available to a reasonable extent for any promotional activities following the end of the tournament.
6. Liability & Indemnity
6.1DPM Events shall not be liable to you for personal injury or death, which is the result of negligence on DPM Events’s part. Any other liability on the part of DPM Events is otherwise excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6.2 You shall indemnify and hold harmless and reimburse DPM Events from and for:
(i)all losses; and/or
(ii)all costs and expenses (including legal costs) that are payable or paid by DPM Events to a third party;
6.3Caused by you in the context of
(i)your participation in MoneyGram Goal or as a result of any breach by you of those terms and conditions.
(ii)on account of an infringement of that third party’s rights (including but not limited to intellectual property rights, names and , trade marks); caused by the selection and use of your team name.
7.General Provisions
7.1 This contract is governed by and construed in accordance with Chinese local law. The courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any disputes arising in connection with it.
7.2If any provision in these terms and conditions, whether in full or in part, is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

I hereby further agree:
- RELEASE and WAIVER
To release, waive and covenant not to sue the DPM Events, MoneyGram, or their members, agents, employees, successors or assigns, for and from any loss or damage, and any claims, actions, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related in any way to my participation in the MoneyGram Goal competition including (but not limited to) bodily injury, death, property damage or loss, or other damages to the me or my possessions, WHETHER CAUSED DIRECTLY, INDIRECTLY, OR NEGLIGENTLY BY DPM Events, MoneyGram, OTHER PARTIES, ANOTHER PARTICIPANT OR OTHERWISE;
- INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS
To indemnify and save and hold harmless the DPM Events, MoneyGram, and their members, agents, employees, successors or assigns from liability for personal injury, property damage, wrongful death, or any other loss, damage, or cost that they may incur arising out of my participation in the MoneyGram Goalcompetition including personal injury WHETHER CAUSED DIRECTLY, INDIRECTLY, OR NEGLIGENTLY BY DPM Events,MoneyGram, OTHER PARTIES, ANOTHER PARTICIPANT, OR OTHERWISE;
- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I acknowledge that the MoneyGram Goalcompetition can be dangerous and involves a risk of injury or serious injury, paralysis, death and that I am voluntarily engaging in such activity;
- LAW
That this Agreement is intended to be governed by the laws of China to whose exclusive jurisdiction any disputes under it shall be submitted;
- CONDITION
I warrant that I do not have a history of or experience any chronic illness, disabilities, back problems, heart conditions, prior injuries; or any other physical or mental conditions, problems, or illnesses and that I have had no criminal convictions anywhere in the world;
- CONSENT
I warrant, confirm and agree with DPM Eventsthat:
a)DPM Eventsand its successors, licenses and assignees shall have the right to exploit my name, likeness, voice, biography and any literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work created or adapted by me or performed by me whether or not in collaboration with others which is featured in the film footage and sound recording by including the same in the Production and by the exploitation of the MoneyGram Goalcompetition and its recording (“the Production”) and excerpts from it and trailers for it in any and all media by any manner or means whether now known or invented in future throughout the world for the full period of copyright in the Production including all renewals, revivals, reversions and extensions and after that so far as permissible in perpetuity;
b)I irrevocably and unconditionally license to DPM Eventsand its successors, licenses and assignees all Performers’ Property Rights and Rental Rights in respect of the film footage and sound recording and I irrevocably and unconditionally give and confirm to DPM Events, its successors, licensees and assignees all consents required pursuant to any other legislation now known or in the future enacted under the laws in force in any part of the world to authorise the exploitation of such film footage and sound recording in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 6(a);
c)I irrevocably and unconditionally waive all rights to which I am now or may in the future be entitled in respect of the inclusion of such film footage and sound recording in the Production pursuant to any other legislation now or in future enacted under the laws in force in any part of the world.
For the purposes of this Agreement:
(a)“Performers’ Property Rights” means in relation to any performance given by me contained in the film footage and sound recording referred to in paragraph 1(a) those rights specified in the relevant laws of China
(b)“Rental Rights” mean the entire rental and lending right specified in the relevant laws of China in relation to all copyright works and/or performances by me to the extent that the same are included and/or contained in the film footage and sound recording referred to in paragraph 6(a).
- WARRANTY
I warrant and confirm that I:-
(a)have not entered and shall not enter into any agreement which may conflict with this Agreement
(b)shall not without the consent in writing of DPM Eventsreveal or make public any information relating to the Production or the MoneyGram Goalcompetition or issue any publicity or make any statement relating to the same without the written consent of DPM Eventsand shall not keep or take or publish any recording, audio, visual, written or otherwise relating to the Production or MoneyGram Goalcompetition or any photographs of persons working on the Production or the MoneyGram Goalcompetition without the prior written consent of DPM Eventsand that any such recording of photographs shall be the property of DPM Events
