The Hungarian Modern Pentathlon Association has the pleasure to invite a delegation of your country to participate in the Youth “A” World Championships that is going to be held on 14-19 May 2014 in Budapest according to the following programme:

RULES
The competition will be carried out according to the UIPM Rules.
Swimming: 25 m indoor / 6 lanes
Fencing: in 10 pistes
Combined event: 36 precision laser (Apeom-system) targets, grass and asphalt running surface.
According to UIPM rules, LASER PISTOL SHOOTING has been selected. This selection by the organizers has been made in the best interest of Modern Pentathlon. All athletes must have their own laser pistols.
ECONOMICAL CONDITIONS
Delegations will pay for their own accommodation, if it is not offered by the Organising Federation/LOC.
All participants will be accommodated at Airport Hotel Budapest. The reservation for the hotel will be on first come first serve basis. The price includes full board accommodation, local transportation, Airport/Railway shuttle and entry to the competition. The cost of stay per person per night is (min. 200 €/person as total amount):

This has to be paid by bank transfer latest up to first technical meeting or at the accreditation desk on arrival. For your and our convenience we kindly ask you to make payment by transfer.
Nations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay €200 for World Youth Championships accreditation fee per participant which is to be sent by bank transfer with the Final Entry Form. This amount includes, lunch packets for the competition days and access to official transportation between the Headquarters hotel and competition sites.
ENTRY FORMS
UIPM has launched a new online entry system of which you have been informed.
Nevertheless, for logistical reasons we require completion and return of the Form of Intent to Compete (Form A)
We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this by 24 March at the latest
The online entries system will close one week before the Technical Meeting, by which time you need to have submitted all information for your team’s participation (flights, pistol numbers, etc).
This is considered as your Final Entry.
Following completion of the final entries, a NF must enter the competition with at least one athlete according to UIPM Rules

ATHLETES’ LICENSES
Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid UIPM Athletes License.
Entries are not possible if any athlete is missing his/her License Number. Please contact immediately UIPM Headquarters if your athlete is missing his/her License number
If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition.
TRAINING
The LOC will offer training facilities for swimming and shooting on the competition sites.
TARGETS
APEOM Laser Targets provided by LOC.
TRANSPORTATION PLAN
Transportation from the airport/railway station to the official hotels and the return journey is only guaranteed if arrival information is provided in good time, and according to the deadline on Entry Form C.
VISAS & VACCINATIONS
Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Hungary prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate.
INSURANCE
All members of the attending Delegations must insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organiser will not accept any responsibility financial or otherwise for loss, injury or illness of any Delegation member.
FIREARMS
Firearms Licenses are not a legal requirement when bringing air and CO2 pistols into Hungary for competition purposes.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please, also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag!
Please, contact directly the LOC to request accommodation for family and friends wishing to attend the competition.
