Applies skills and knowledge required for Licensed Vocational Nurses desiring to enter the 3rd semester of the A.D.N. Program. Content includes concepts and principles of the Nursing Process; role transition; legal, ethical and regulatory issues; and clinical skills inherent in the Registered Nurse role.

METHODS OF EVALUATING STUDENT PROGRESS

A.  Classroom work (quizzes, tests, written assignments) must be completed with a cumulative grade of 76%.

B.  Pass the medication dosage calculation exam with a score of 90% or greater.
