Thursday, November 16 / Pray today for the budgeting process in preparation for the December Board of Directors’ meeting. Ask God to be present in the conversations and throughout the entire process. Pray that the proposed budget would be approved and that the Board and Staff would be good stewards of the resources they have been given.

Friday, November 17 / Give thanks today for the time that Debby Suchyta was able to spend with the group from Sloka, Latvia on October 28 & 29 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Florida. It was an opportunity for her to meet with them and renew old relationships and extend an offer for any future needs they might have.

Saturday, November 18 / Thank God today for the 1730 Eyeglass Team that served in India. This team provided 633 people with eye testing and glasses. Give thanks for Team leader Kathy Chrzanowski and for the entire team from St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walled Lake.

Sunday, November 19 / Last week after the conclusion of the Guatemala TIP team, Debby Suchyta was able to stay in Guatemala in order to meet with the national church. Thank God that Debby was able to extend her trip and that she was able to sit down with the church leaders to discuss specific needs and plans for future teams.

Monday, November 20 / Give thanks today for 1735 Medical Team that recently returned home from Nicaragua. Thank God for this team and for the mighty work they were able to accomplish while in Nicaragua. Pray for each person that came through their medical clinic and ask God to bless them today.
Tuesday, November 21 / Today please pray for Carol Heldt, the sister of Staff Member Linda Thompson. Carol’s husband Ed passed away earlier this month. Ask God to grant Carol comfort as she mourns the loss of her husband of many years. Thank God for Ed’s life and for the promise of eternal life.
Wednesday, November 22 / Earlier this month MOST Ministries held their annual Fundraising Luncheon. Thank God for this event and for each person in attendance. Give thanks for all the people that made this event successful.
Thursday, November 23 / Thanksgiving Day
Give thanks for Team Leader Lexi Schmidt because today is her birthday. Lexi has been leading teams for several years and this year has decided to take a break this year. Thank God for Lexi and for all the work she has done as a Team Leader. Ask God to bless her today and throughout the coming year.
Friday, November 24 / Several members of the 1804 Water and Farm will be meeting today. This team will be serving in Uganda in late January. Ask God to be present during the meeting and to prepare the hearts and minds of each person who will be serving on the team.
Saturday, November 25 / In September Greg and Debby Suchyta moved from Michigan to Wisconsin. Debby has continued working with MOST Ministries but Greg’s job as the Storeroom Manager was such that it was unable to be done remotely. Give thanks for the many years that Greg gave to MOST Ministries and for all the work he has done for our ministry. Pray for the search process as we look for a new person to fill the position left open by Greg. Ask God to identify the right person to take on the job of managing the storeroom as well as the packing and unpacking of all our teams.
Give thanks also for Lynn Wrightson and all the volunteers who have worked so diligently to fill in while we search for a replacement.
Sunday, November 26 / Give thanks today for the 1716 Water and TIP team that returned home from Guatemala earlier this month. Thank God for this team and for all the work that they accomplished while in Guatemala.
Monday, November 27 / This week MOST Ministries is celebrating our volunteers. Give thanks for the many, many people who give of their time both in and out of the MOST Ministries’ Office. Without their help we could not accomplish a fraction of the work that is needed to get our teams on and off the mission field. Ask God to bless each one of our volunteers.
Tuesday, November 28 / Today the Michigan Lutheran Leaders and Ministries will be meeting at the LCMS-Michigan District Officer. Thank God for this group of faithful Christians and ask Him to be present during their meeting.
In addition to our regular Tuesday volunteers, groups from Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Brighton, MI, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor, MI, and Trinity Lutheran Church in Toledo, OH will be in the MOST Ministries' office. Ask God to grant them all safe travels and to bless them as they serve.
Wednesday, November 29 / Give thanks today for all our volunteers, but specifically give thanks for the group from St. Paul in Trenton who will be in the MOST Ministries Office. Ask God to bless them today and throughout the coming year.
Give thanks also for the LCMS Michigan District Office and for their support of MOST Ministries over the years.
Thursday, November 30 / One month from today, Team 1739, a group from Campus Lutheran Church in Columbia, Missouri will be departing for Belize. Pray for this team and their leader Darcy Zent as they make final preparations for their trip. Begin praying for each person in Belize who will visit the Eyeglass Clinics for eye tests, glasses, but most importantly will be given the opportunity to hear the Gospel message.
